About this property

Summer in the Mountains! Swimming, Hiking, Fishing, and Views.

Our three level home is full of personalized details that we have created and added throughout the years. It is a cozy and spacious home that we have filled up with family and laughter, shared meals and bible studies, and even hosted workshops for small groups.

You'll find the master bedroom containing one queen-size bed and the master bath on the main level of the house. Upstairs are two bedrooms: the first contains a queen-size bed with a double-size trundle bed underneath, and the second has a double-size bed and twin-sized daybed. There are also two twin beds in the loft. A full bathroom with tub/shower combo and double sink are on this level.

The basement has a comfortable TV room, a pool table, and a new full bathroom with a shower. From here you'll have access to the large two-level deck around the above-ground pool, hot tub, and fire pit for those cooler nights. You'll find plenty of comfortable seating here to enjoy the views, share meals, and sip your morning coffee. This is one of our favorite spaces in the house!

The main level of the house contains the large dining table that can seat 6 people with an additional 2 seats available at the kitchen bar. You'll find an open concept kitchen/dining/living room, with full laundry room and large pantry off the fully stocked kitchen. There is also an additional sitting room / office space with wireless printer if you need to get some work done. We have wireless internet and Roku TV for you to be able to stream your favorite shows. From the main level, walk out onto the porch and upper deck for amazing views of the sunsets over the mountains, or of the clouds and fog settled into the valleys in the morning.

This home's location is the perfect mix of quiet seclusion and proximity , as it is only minutes from stores, restaurants, and Western Carolina University. The driveway is steep, but fully paved, and accessible to most any vehicle, two or four wheel drive. From here, you are less than an hour away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Nantahala Gorge, the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Great Smoky Mountain Railway, The Biltmore Estate, Cherokee, white water rafting, tons of great hiking and mountain biking, and lots of great places to shop and eat. It's the perfect central location to get to almost everything that the mountains have to offer.

We would love to host your family getaway, your small group retreat, or even be a place for your creative writing and artist respite. Come be inspired here!

Our New Goto!
We had a group of family and friends for a Western game and this property is even better than the listing! The details, the coziness and cleanliness was incredible! They even left stuff for s’mores! We will definitely be back!

Perfect home to spend time together
The photos do not do this home justice. It is just stunning. Everything is so clean. Hannah and Clint have thought of everything you would ever need and included it in the house. The porches were perfect for hanging out and catching up. When the sun was too much on the patio we found ourselves enjoying the pool table inside. Lots of room for three couples. We plan to return. You can't ask for more attentive hosts. The area is so peaceful. Highly recommend.

Hey! We're Clint and Hannah. We became empty nesters this year in 2022 and we are so excited to start a new business through renting our home. We are multi business owners and are stepping into this new life of adult children with excitement. We have a successful cleaning company, fully staffed, so cleanliness should never be a concern for you during your stay with us. We love our home and have lots of our creative style throughout the house. I (Hannah) am not afraid of paint colors. We are strong followers of Jesus Christ and love people. We work in addiction recovery and are in the developmental stages of forming a faith based transition center called "A City Not Forsaken", where individuals can come successfully transition back into business and family. We both love leadership and leadership development. We teach and train leaders in many platforms from churches to organizations and down to the individuals. We definitely have the hope that renting our home builds lasting relationship with many of our guests, along with Kingdom connections for our future. Many of the profits from this rental will fund "A City Not Forsaken". You can feel good about where your money is going! Check us out at clintandhannah.com

Why they chose this property

This property is a longline of family land. The home is only 20 years old and I (Hannah) have raised my boys here. 10 years ago Clint and I met and married shortly after and continued to raise our blended family here in this home. Our home is peace and rest. It feels good to walk in this home. It is cozy, and so stinking cute. I create and Clint builds, we're a great pair. The history of all our company that has come and gone through the years, here are some comments that are repeated over and over. "I slept so good", It's so peaceful here", "It smells good", "It just feels so good here". Needless to say we have been blessed to create an atmosphere that is light and peaceful. We are excited for you to come and receive rest from your work/life, and reconnect with yourself. We pray your stay here is everything you needed and you walk away in balance to face whatever lies ahead of you.
