About Steven Minning
Originally from the Midwest, I'm a New Yorker of 30 years that bought this charming cottage eleven years ago to get away from the city and enjoy the charm of a small Pennsylvania town.
Steven Minning purchased this Cottage in 2006
Why Steven Minning chose Milford
The proximity to New York is so convenient and easy to get to. The property feels so private - you feel as though you are in the middle of the country, yet you are only a 10 minute walk into the middle of the town of Milford PA. The community is quaint, with good shops, good dining and minimum amount of tourists. Go the Milford Diner for some pancakes in morning and hob-nob with the locals. The area has all the amenities to go out or stay at home!
What makes this Cottage unique
A very open space - yet a very cozy and warm space complete w/ a working fireplace. The open space includes an open staircase with no railing that leads up to the sleeping loft. The staircase is solid and sturdy, but it has no hand rail, so therefore it is not child safety See photo above.

It was a great low key weekend... Perfect for us and our dog Maddie who even took advantage of the stream out back
Thank you! It was our pleasure. You're welcome back anytime!
The property was gorgeous.
We had a little trouble finding the place but the owner was helpful. I would definitely come back again and I would definitely recommend this cabin to someone to rent.
The cabin is wonderful, interesting and incredibly comfortable.
Excellent location, stream right nearby, private but not lonely, just the right amount of nature without sacrificing the city.
Very cozy. Brings me back to my childhood. Love the stream out back and the town of Milford close by. Perfect location. It really feels like you the only ones in the area. Owner really took care in maintaining the property. Cant wait to go back.
More gorgeous and peaceful than the pictures can show....even though the pictures win you over.
Pure peace, bliss. The sound of the brook. Didn't see a single person while at the cottage. Downtown is quaint and lovely. Enjoyed the Water Wheel cafe. A true gem.
This was an enjoyable stay. The area has a lot of nice places to explore. The house is very cozy and well kept. We would suggest this place for anyone wanting to get a little in the woods but not to far.
