Spectacular private 92 foot long (x 5 ft deep) view infinity edge pool overlooking the 16th hole of the Mauna Lani North Golf Course, along with a 12 person hot tub that waterfalls into the pool below. This is truly one of the nicest pools on the Big Island, wrapping around the lava hillside. A large covered outdoor lanai area has a Wolf propane BBQ,a sitting bar, two refrigerator drawers, a large ice maker and table centered between the Koi pond and swimming pool. The courtyard has a tropical waterfall that cascades into a 28 foot circular canaled Koi Pond surrounded by the tropical beauty of a Hawaiian landscaped garden. The garden includes two Tahitian lime trees and one Hayden mango tree that bear fruit for your enjoyment. Newly added (Oct 2009) Theater Room with projector and 86' screen, surround sound, High Definition Dish Satellite, Blu-Ray Disc player and Radio Receiver. Living room now has 63' Plasma TV with Ipod Docking station and other electronics like the theater room.
While in the small gated community of Champion Ridge located in the beautiful 5-star Resort of the Mauna Lani, this house is situated to give you privacy while enjoying Hawaii in it's most luxurious splendor. You will find yourself in awe of the white sand beach cove at the Mauna Lani with its excellent diversity of colorful fish to view while snorkeling, or making sand castles on the beach, swimming in the warm waters or just sun bathing.
Sign up for excursions, enjoy the two highly ranked golf courses the resort has to offer, play tennis, work out at the fitness facility, relax and pamper yourself at the Mauna Lani Spa, take walks throughout the resort or visit the many beaches close by. Take a helicopter ride and view the volcano.
This home offers four bedrooms, each with a King Sized bed. The master is a bungalow all to itself while another two bedrooms are connected in their own bungalow styled building and the last bedroom is in the main house. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower while the master has an enlarged shower and jetted jacuzzi tub.
There are airbeds with linens if additional sleeping space is required. There's an outdoor shower next to the pool for rinsing before and/or after swimming. There are also games to keep you busy and 18 hole greens for putting around in the community just outside your door.
This is not the place for those looking for loud parties for vacation, but rather those who love their privacy and know how to enjoy the beauty and splendor of Hawaii.

We have had the pleasure of staying at Kim and Steve’s beautiful estate in Champion Ridge for 2 family vacations now. Most recently we were there with our growing family including a 2 year old and 6 month old. The large pool and spa were perfect for everyone from the 6 month old to our 80 year old grandmother. The sliding glass doors allowed us the perfect amount of indoor/outdoor enjoyment and provided a safety barrier for our curious 2 year old. The house is very well stocked with anything you could need to dine and play at the house all day, every day, plus plenty of beach gear and access to the private beach club at Mauna Lani. Above all, we love how easy and stress-free our vacation was from planning through our stay thanks to Kim and her property managers, Judy and Ken. Wonderful people! We have stayed in several estates, condos, and hotels from Kona to Puako and Kim’s home is far away our favorite.
We have been visiting Mauna Lani as a family for 25 years, always staying at the hotel. This year we had our two adult children each bring a few friends and decided to rent this property, and it was absolutely the right decision. The owner Kim made everything easy for us, and the on-site managers Judy and Ken made sure that you had everything that you needed. Let me stress that I mean everything - beach towels, sunscreen, bicycles, all household necessities - the only things you had to provide were food and beverage. Add in state-of-the-art television with a seemingly endless library of movies and there is something for everyone to do, even when the sun doesn't shine.
But then, the sun is always out and the pool and golf course/mountain views are spectacular. As a quick heads-up, we chose to stock the house with food and snacks from Costco near the airport, but quickly found that the food and beverage prices at the Foodland at the Mauna Lani were very competitive which makes things even easier.

There’s not enough that can be said about the wonderful home Kim and Steve allowed us to use for our family vacation. What a beautiful place … the house, the grounds, the pool, the view, the amenities… just incredible. In particular, the ability to open the one dozen or so sliding glass panels provided an incredibly airy feeling to an already exquisitely appointed, roomy living room and kitchen area. We cooked on the outdoor grill frequently. All bedrooms are large, airy and very comfortable. The master suite, overlooking the infinity pool and expanse of the horizon was, uh, masterful.
Kim is an amazing hostess. Her communications and offering of suggestions and services involving our stay were very helpful. Kim has a great team helping her in Hawaii. Judy and Ken are very nice people and were very attentive to our needs and the property.

The owners and property managers of this home are outstanding. I rented this home 3 years ago and then again this year. It's in as good or better condition now than it was then so it is well maintained. It's 5 star for sure and they care about everything being perfect for your stay. It's an amazing home for groups with four full suites and lots of amenities including pool and other common areas. We spent more time just enjoying the home this time than last time because it was as if we had our own private resort. The kitchen and other rooms of the home are well appointed with anything you could need for just staying there and enjoying it. We were there 10 days and were sad to leave. A few things are within walking distance if you don't mind a short walk, but generally speaking you'll need a car. It's an extremely good value and way better than any hotel stay unless you need daily maid service and someone to prepare your food. I plan on coming back again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.
Our family of eight, including two young children, had a wonderful Thanksgiving week at this lovely home. It is spacious, with plenty of room for together time, as well as private areas, where some of our group worked remotely.
The children had a lot of fun feeding the fish daily. They were so happy playing in the beautiful pool and hot tub that they did not want to leave the house.
Mauna Lani has lots of shops and restaurants, as well as a gourmet small grocery store.
I had planned lots of sightseeing excursions, but everyone was so happy to relax in the house most of the time.
Kim was a delight to work with.

We had the pleasure of staying in your beautiful home for 7 days in March and cannot begin to thank you enough. The house is perfectly set up to accommodate a larger group. There were 8 adult in our group and each couple felt as though they had their own private space, not to mention spectacular common space. The gourmet kitchen, pool and outdoor bar area were perfect for gathering together and socializing. The house is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your vacation from beach towels and chairs to boogie boards and bikes. The house was immaculate when we arrived, the pictures cannot capture the beautiful views from this house, it is breathtaking. Communication with the owner was a breeze. I hope that we can gather the same group and book your beautiful house for next year. Thank you again it was a trip we are soon not to forget! Mahalo!
