Why they chose this property
This unique home was built around a reclaimed structure, using sustainable resources and recycled materials in many parts of the design. The apartment is private and very conveniently placed, only 300 meters from the coral reef beaches and vibrant town of Puerto Viejo in a residential neighbourhood, nestled on the edge of the forest. This wonderfully located property is just far enough away from the bustle of town to enjoy the tranquillity and magic of the jungle yet close enough to make the most of all Old Harbour has to offer. You can go to sleep to the sound of waves crashing on the nearby shore and wake up to the howlers calling in the new day from the adjacent tree line.
We provide FREE drinking water plus linens, soap and toilet paper are also provided. The rental apartment is private but we are nearby should you need anything at all during your stay. We love to host guests and people from all backgrounds are welcome in our home.

The apartment is located in a residential neighbourhood. The space is part of a semi-detached building, comprising this rental apartment on one side and another rental apartment on the other. The immediate area is made up of private dwellings and there are no hotels in the 'barrio', it is one of the only truly local neighborhoods around, offering a more genuine and unique experience of local life during your stay.
