This luxury townhome is located in the heart of Lauderdale by the Sea, two blocks from the beach, one block to shopping and dining. Three bedrooms and a study provide sleeping for eight persons. Private pool and gardens for a relaxing visit.

Great Location, Relaxing Spot.
We had 8 adults come to Lauderdale and we were very pleased with the villa condition, location and back patio seclusion. The owner was very responsive to our communications and questions. The pool was too cold to use and that was a big disappointment and we only found one wash cloth but everything else was great. Publix is 400 yards down the road as well as great dining and shops. We ran the intercostal in a friends boat and had a very balanced weekend of fun and relaxation. The beds were average and I may be more picky about bedding when I travel but it is important to a good rest. The street is very quiet and if peace and quiet is your focus then this is it and if fun is your focus then it is ideal also being so close to the beach, bars, food and shops. Great house, Great location, very close to beach
When we arrived the key was in the mailbox, When we entered the home, it was very clean and well laid out for the beach house life style, the location is fantastic, very close to beach, shopping, dining and the town center where the pier, and many shops and restaurants to visit, Ben was most gracious, and accommodated all of our requests
A neglected house with tired furnishings in a great location
We are two retired couples that rented the house during February and March, 2018
A great location within easy walking distance to the beach, groceries and restaurants.
Quiet dead-end street with little traffic.
The three useable bedrooms have good mattresses.
living space suitable for 6 people.
Attractive, sheltered, south-facing patio and pool (unheated).
Owner unhelpful and unpleasant to deal with (see below).
House in bad shape: awnings cannot be extended or retracted, ground floor and patio furniture in very poor condition, pool quickly loses water if circulation system and waterfall engaged, pool solar heating system broken, windows difficult or impossible to open, holes and tears in window screens, shower, toilet and air conditioner drains poorly maintained.
Small kitchen, the few pots and pans provided are in poor condition.
Dealing with owner:
During our extended rental the drain for the air conditioning system housed in the attic clogged causing water damage in the rooms below. The house had to be vacated while heavy equipment was brought in to run 24 hours per day to prevent mold. The owner made no effort to find us suitable alternate accommodation. When we located a modest hotel nearby with vacancies he refused to pay the cost. After extensive and very unpleasant negotiations the owner offered to refund to us the daily rate we had paid him for the days the house was unavailable to us. The owner seemed oblivious to the distress caused us by this interruption in our holiday or to the additional financial burden imposed on the four of us having to rent two hotel rooms at high season rates and eat our meals in restaurants.
Please understand I have been promoting my property since 2007 on homeaway, I try very hard to provide a clean, comfortable, , beach house experience for all my guest, we had an a/c water issue, the renter contacted me about 7:30 Sunday evening, I immediately had Conrad go to property and stop the water source, the next morning I arrived with a water restoration contractor, needless to say the renter and his wife made the situation very bad when she requested $3,000 from me,
BEWARE RENTER BEWARE
This owner will use ever reason to keep your deposit and the system within VRBO is broken to help. Do not rent from this owner. This property is in need of repairs and don't let him tell you otherwise. He will use every reason to keep your money so make repairs that should be done. Also, in the winter the pool is not heated and the sun is shaded to the pool so it is very cold. There is a rat trap in the back yard. This guy had the nerve to ask me how long I was taking a shower and that was the reason the drain didn't work. I was speechless. His claim is my hair caused the drain to plug from Day 1.
Here are the reasons why he will not return my deposit in the first response: I noticed outside lights left on the living room cable tv was knock off signal and not working the way I gave it to them
the large window in the staircase blinds cord had been all screwed up in notts, I even tie them high, and hang on a nail, just so guest would leave it alone:
the large blue bathroom on 2nd floor someone actually punched a hole in tile around the bathtub:
theres another crack in the tile in the master bath Jacuzzi, they said the Jacuzzi wasn't draining fast, before they came there was no drain problem, but after my maids cleaned Jacuzzi drain, the was a lot of hair

We are just about finish cleaning and inspecting property, I found that the living room tv has lost it signal and not working the way I gave it to you, the lights on the outside, side of house were left on, somebody got the curtain cord in the large window in the staircase all screwed up, had it tied to a nail so guest would leave it alone,, somebody broke the shower tile in the blue bathroom, and somebody chipped another piece of tile in the bath master bath Jacuzzi, Thanks Ben
He spys on the property. So be careful how you use the electricity, don't use the windows, don't shave your legs, don't wash you hair, don't hook your computer to the TV and don't use the blinds or he will find something wrong
I have been promoting my property on homeaway since 2007, I try very hard to provide a clean, comfortable, beach house experience for all my guest, Colleen and her children were out of control, they actually punched a hole in the tile in the 2nd floor bathroom, and over flowed the jacuzzi in master bath, and caused water stain on the ceiling of the living room, Colleen filed a com[plaint with the state, and when the state inspector arrived, with in 20 minutes he said there is nothing wrong here, and said case closed, the inspector explained that colleen and all her many phone calls were a problem for him
Hi, I stay at this house in August 2016. My vacation was perfect until it was the time to recover my security deposit that I never got even if I was meeting all the points of the contract. Very disappointed about that stay. Be careful

My family of 8 were very pleased with the everything that this house had to offer. The location, back patio and pool were amazing. Ben was very responsive to questions. House is in walking distance of everything. The street is very quiet.

Newer town home, private pool, beautifully decorated and landscaped, located on very quiet street; 2 blocks from beach, one block to Sea Ranch Shopping Plaza (including grocery store, CVS, bank, restaurants, liquor store, etc.), walking distance to Churches, tennis and basketball courts,clothing, souvenir and beach shopping, local pubs, fishing pier, more restaurants; short driving distance to golf course, performing arts center, movies, malls, Dolphin stadium, Everglades attraction, and much more.
