About Hogie

Hogie and Connie just celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary and are blessed with 4 children and 15 grand children. Hogie works as a builder with his own company called HISBIZ and Connie as a realtor with TrailsWest Realty in Bigfork, MT. We love our family and feel so blessed to live in the most beautiful place on this planet.

Hogie purchased this house in 2004

Why Hogie chose Flathead Lake

We loved this property from the minute we first set foot on it. Being situated 800 feet above lake level it gives one the feel of being airborne, which is Hogie's passion. The mountain and lake views capped with breathtaking sunrises are an added bonus every time you look out the windows.

What makes this house unique

Besides being centrally located to countless recreational activities in the Flathead Valley, the home is less than an hour from the pristine Glacier National Park and Big Mountain and Blacktail Ski resorts.

Perfect perfect perfect!!!

  • 5 of 5

Our family came to stay for 8 nights in the middle of February. We came for some RnR and he home was more than perfect. It was close to blacktail and whitefish big mountain for skiing - which we did and loved! The home has a spectacular view of flathead lake and the mountains. We enjoyed all the windows for the view. The cabin was very clean, very open and perfect for us!! We would stay there again for sure! Hogie lived just up the hill and was easy to get ahold of and very helpful

The house was great! Super clean and had just about everything we needed. Beautiful views, quiet, scenic, and lots of wildlife visit daily. We were there for glacier and visited frequently. No fire while we were there due to the high level of danger. But the fire pit looked perfect! Hogie was great and gave us a wonderful day trip reco- holland lake- Great Lake, beautiful views and we rented kayaks. We would for sure come back again!

Mountain Retreat

This home was amazing. Very clean. The views were fantastic and the location ideal. Our week of fun included Glacier National Park, Whitefish Resort, fishing on Flathead and exploring the towns around the lake. We loved how central this home was. Will definitely return!

Notes:
