Family Ski trip
This was our 3rd year staying at this beautiful , relaxing clean home. Our grandchildren love sledding and cross country skiing in the backyard. We’re only about 15 minutes from Berkshire East. The host has made sure you are comfortable and have everything you need.

Beautiful farmhouse
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse. Our host, Sandi was very communicative through out the whole process. The home was very clean and had so many wonderful amenities. The wood burning stoves were set up for easy use and made for a very cozy winter stay. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay here again!

Another Perfect Thanksgiving
This is a very special property, and we were fortunate, once again, to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with family in Heath. It has now become our family "tradition" to journey to the Berkshires and enjoy this gorgeous home with friends/family. As usual, the house was stocked with wood for the stoves and everything was clean and ready for our arrival. Thanksgiving is a tricky holiday when you are away from home but, thankfully, a stocked kitchen was ready for us so we could cook all the holiday favorites. Our gracious hosts even left out candles on the dining room table to add to the festivities. Our family quickly settled into the house, and we felt right at home. I think that's one of the best things about this property and the tremendous care and attention to detail that has gone into maintaining such a place. It feels like home when you stay there, and I think that's pretty special. Whether you are gathering by the fire inside or exploring the local towns (especially Shelburne Falls), or going for a lovely walk around the property, there is so much to enjoy. For me, I embraced the quiet, gorgeous morning light that would peek through our bedroom window as I sat and sipped my coffee. I didn't feel rushed. It was heaven! We will surely be back again to make more memories! Thanks to our amazing hosts for a lovely holiday weekend!

Wonderful!
This is the second time we have stayed at this lovely property. The house is extremely clean and comfortable with a lot of charm and attention to small details that enhanced our stay. There is a beautiful yard with a fire pit , gas grill and picnic tables that we used for a family gathering during our visit. Sandi quickly responded to questions/communications from us prior to and during our stay. We highly recommend this rental and will be back!

I grew up in Bay Shore, NY. I have resided in NYC, Chicago, Brooklyn and Jersey City. My husband David grew up in Texas, California, Guam, South Dakota and NYC (his father was a pilot for the US Air Force). My husband and I purchased this Farmhouse over 7 years ago as our vacation home (to get away from JC). We currently reside in Hebron, CT with our son Zori.

Why they chose this property

We enjoy visiting Berkshire East and we love old farmhouses. When we saw this house, we instantly fell in love with it. Not only was this the house we were looking for, the old barn and the 12 acres of land was an added bonus. 9 of the 12 acres are wooded. which provides privacy - when the sun sets, its a beautiful view. We are able to quickly drive to Berkshire East , Shelburne Falls, North Adams, Jacksonville, VT and Mt Snow. We love the get away location as much as the house.

What makes this property unique

The kitchen is what first captivated me. Then the wood burning stoves were my favorite during the winter months. That along with the beautiful snowfalls and the ability to run outside and watch our son sled down the small hill out back. In the fall, it's the trees turning colors, watching or neighbors horses roam around and sitting by the old barn with a glass of wine. We love every nook and cranny of this house and we hope you do too.
