Welcome to S. Venice. This cozy newly updated 2/2 private home is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood located 2.5mil (7min drive) from Manasota Beach. Other great gulf beaches are a quick drive away. Both downtown Venice & Dearborn St in Englewood are about 15 minutes away.
The cottage has a split floor plan with 2 bedrooms, each with direct access to a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and stacked for your cooking needs.
The spacious lanai features a heated, saltwater pool with a LED light and a brand-new screen enclosure to keep the bugs out. The lanai has a dining table, pool loungers & a gas grill.
The cottage has well water and a brand-new water filtration system that is serviced by Aqua Soft.
There is a washer and dryer for your use.
Fresh towels & linens provided, washed at high temperatures. All surfaces are DISINFECTED after each guest...

Easy remote check in/check out process.

We provide the following beach gear:
Beach chairs/ Beach umbrella/ Beach towels/ Coolers/ Sand toys/ Sand sifter/
Boogie boards.
Two bikes are also provided for your enjoyment..

The split floor plan features an open living/dining room space with each bedroom located on opposite sides of the house for added privacy. Each bedroom has direct access to its own bathroom.

The kitchen is fully stacked with pots, pans, utensils, glassware, bakeware, oils, spices and more. There are also plastic plates, cups to be enjoyed outside by the pool.
There is also a powerful Ninja blender for smoothies or frozen drinks....

The coffee bar has three coffee brewing options (Keurig single cup, 12 cup coffee pot and French Press), there is even a milk frother and electric kettle for tea lovers. Starter packs of coffee, tea & sugar are provided.

The 40" smart TV in the living room is equipped with 125 cable channels. The 2nd ROKU TV is located in the master bedroom and also includes cable, Netflix, Hulu, ESPN+ and more.

The sleeper sofa converts into a full-size bed and is made upon request.

Baby gear (pack-n-play, highchair), books and toys are available upon request.

The spacious outdoor space has a covered patio with a dinning set and pool loungers. There is a gas grill for your use. The pool is heated during winter months to 86F (October-Apr). Please note that during unusually cold nights/days the water will not be able to reach 86F. Pool floats and toys are located in the garage..

Well equipped, comfortable and private

Quiet neighborhood, private pool with additional secondary fence around property. Excellent for dog lovers. Kitchen had every utensil you could imagine. Coffee/ tea bar was a nice touch along with a few snacks and water bottles. Extremely clean. Bed was comfortable. Two tvs with cable. Definitely will book again if in the area.

Fantastic Property

This is a wonderful property. It was very clean. We were pleasantly surprised by some of the amenities provided. They had bottle water, coffee and various other snacks and condiments available. The property owners were very nice and made the check-in process extremely easy and communicated with us the day of our arrival to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. At first we were a little nervous about the heated pool because it was at 77 degrees and we're used to pool water around 85 degrees but the next day the water temperature was 86. We assumed it was on a timer and the temperature increased while we were there and then probably on a timer to lower the day we checked out so don't worry if the pool isn't warm enough the day you get there. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome house!

This house was one of the best. Having stayed at multiple VBRO’s I am not often impressed. This home was great! The owners seemed to have thought of almost everything. The thing that impressed me THE MOST was the fully stocked coffee bar, nothing is more terrible after flying all day, getting in late and up early to then have to go find coffee…not an issue with this home, they had it ALL..its the small things that make the difference. Having phone chargers provided- the bomb, labeling cabinets and drawers in the kitchen- brilliant! My kids lived in the pool when not in the ocean, excellent pool area. Would definitely stay here again! Owners are very responsive, thanks for letting us stay!

I knew within 30 min what I would be rating.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this home. I am usually skeptical of staying places, even hotels, because you never know what to expect. Not only was the home exceptionally clean but the owners truly thought of anything and everything you might need during your stay. We were 1000 miles away from our home but we felt so comfortable here it felt like a second home. The outdoor area was perfect. We used the pool every single day and our kids were obsessed. My son even said one of his first words “pool” because he loved it so much. The area was perfect. Very quiet and private, close to anything you might need. We already plan to book this home again for our visit next year.

A great little place!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights for a long weekend getaway. The pool with a screened lanai was a great outdoor place to relax. We also really enjoyed all the nice little personal touches such as charger cords in each room, coffee/tea bar, and a basket of snacks/waters. The neighborhood is very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay!

"The Poolside" is nestled in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds, yet close to everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The beloved Manasota beach is a quick car ride or even a bike ride away. The house features a split floor plan, with the common areas in the middle, great for gathering and relaxing, while the bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the house, for added privacy. Each of the bedrooms has its own full bathroom. The patio/pool area is spacious, sunny but also has a shaded area great for relaxing, entertaining or reading a book. This whole area is enclosed and has a brand new screen to keep the bugs away.

What makes this property unique

South Venice is known as the "Shark Tooth Capital of the World." Hunting for fossilized shark teeth that are thousands of years old, is by far the favorite activity of locals and tourists alike.
Additionally, we do not believe in basic rentals, therefore our rentals are stacked will plenty of extra items, to provide a home away from home experience. Our cottage is equipped with beach gear including a sand sifter, beach toys, 2 bikes and pool floats, so you can have all of the fun. The kitchen is very well equipped so that you can prepare your favorite meals. We provide fresh cotton linens, fluffy towels, cleaning supplies and toiletries.
