Little Palm Guest Suite, located in the garden level of a quaint island stone cottage, is the perfect romantic getaway. Half of our guests are honeymooners. Situated high a top a hill that borders the National Park, it has spectacular 280 degree views of the Caribbean. For those who desire a more secluded location with luxurious furnishings, yet priced lower than the two island resort hotels.

The impeccably furnished interior boasts a King Size poster bed with a comfortable pillow top mattress. The room has a sitting area with snakeskin mosaic tile table and 2 chairs. The oversized mahogany French doors open to the ocean view and a private coral tiled deck. 2 additional French doors open to a private covered porch and patio. The suite includes a custom kitchenette area with sink, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, blender, toaster oven & coffee maker and an outside grill with side burner for cooking.

The luxury bath with custom cabinetry contains glistening white carrera marble. The large shower with glass tile accents features an ocean view window and is big enough for two.

The Guest Suite has its own separate staircase and entry, with its own private covered porch, balcony and patio. Little Palm is situated in a quiet neighborhood.

A beautiful iridescent glass tiled pool with a bench allows you to relax while enjoying the panoramic ocean view...a wonderful spot to enjoy the sunset and cocktail after the beach. (See pool details under amenities.) Little Palm's guest suite is the perfect place to pamper yourself and your mate for a wonderful carribean vacation you will never forget!

No smoking is permitted on the premises. A rental car will be required for your stay; 2 doo9r jeep is recommended. (You will probably not use the 4WD, but Jeep type vehicles sit higher off the ground, making them better for St John roads.) The roads are all paved from the ferry to your front door. Recently some VRBO customers have been e-mailed by individuals stating they are the property owner and offering a 20% discount if guests wire the money to them. They sign up for e-mail names similar to the vrbo e-mail and guests think they are dealing with the owner. I never request that guests wire $ - NEVER WIRE $ TO A FOREIGN COUNTRY.

About Michael Krienik - Owner

Hi, my name is Michael Krienik and I invite you to share the wonderful paradise of St John. I first discovered St John 30 years ago via a cruise to St Thomas with a short snorkel junket to Trunk Bay Beach in St John. I was hooked. In March of 2003 I purchased land, some say its the best lot on the whole south side of the island, with its 230 degree breathtaking ocean views. I completed Little Palm Guest Suite in August of 2009 as a place where guests can truly enjoy the best St John has to offer. I spent an entire week, 8 hours a day, on the island looking at every parcel of land available. In the end, the panoramic views, the cooling trade winds, the privacy, the gentle sounds of the surf, the views of three different bays, the sunrise and sunset...I was not able to find anything that compares.

Outstanding location..crazy gorgeous views!

On your way there you wonder, have I made the right decision.. trust me you have! The entire island is hilly and a bit challenging to drive... but only for the first day..there are not a lot of roads, so you will get to know them quite quickly.

My husband and I are big hikers, so I think we hit all but 2 trails in 9 days. Spent a lot of time in Coral Bay, because we enjoyed the simplicity and food. The beaches are remote and wonderful, as well as snorkeling. But back to Michael's place Little Palm, I highly recommend it. After a rugged day around the island, its comforting to come back to. There is a great little fresh fish market in town, so you can cook right on BBQ..breakfast on the deck can't be beat..

We have stayed in many places in St. Johns over the years and this is by far the best of the best! Amazing views, all the amenities, very private and I may add romantic. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. Don't waste your time looking around, this is the place.

Beautiful Property-Perfect Spot to Get-Away!

We enjoyed a nine-night stay at Little Palm-Michael was most gracious and full of information for us. The suite was perfect for two people. The drive up was a bit exhilarating, but by the second time it was old hat. St. John was the perfect spot for our day trips to the BVI's as well as to enjoy St. John.

Peaceful Paradise

My husband and I had the best experience with Michael at Little Palm. This villa is perfect. Waking up to the views on the patio with a cup of coffee in hand was unbeatable. Besides the views being beyond what a picture can capture, everything about this villa makes life on the island comfortable and convenient.

The drive to the villa is sketchy! Its totally doable, but don't have hopes of drinking in town (Cruz Bay) and being comfortable driving home. Save the evening cocktails for the private pool or deck of this beautiful Villa. A day or two into the trip and the drive seems second nature. We rented our jeep from Bougainvillea Rentals, it seemed to be the most reasonably priced. Although the brand new jeep screams tourist, we liked that the jeep from Bougainvillea wasn't spattered with stickers with the rental companies name, making the tourists car even more well known.

We loved that the villa came equipped with beach chairs and coolers, made beach bumming very convenient! We rented snorkel gear from Just Beach and were very pleased. The pre trip planning felt like a breeze with all the assistance from the owner Michael. He made every effort to make our arrival go smoothly and an abundance of information about the island so we felt like locals upon arrival!

We spent 2 days in St. Thomas before heading to St. John. HUGE MISTAKE!!! If you can make the timing work, don't waste your valuable vacation time in St. Thomas. Get to Little Palm ASAP, you will be happy you did! I can't say enough about this rental. Don't keep searching...this is the most perfect spot on the island!

Great experience and amazing views

This was our first trip to St. John and friends that had been before insisted we spend the week there rather than St. Thomas, they were right! With around 4,000 people on St. John (vs 55,000 on St. Thomas) we made the right call to enjoy our vacation there! It is extremely laid back and relaxing with great people! Cruz bay at night is a must!

The arrival and greeting was great! We were meet at the ferry and taken to St. John Rentals. After this we were guided to the house and after one trip it was easy to find on our own and took only about 15 minutes to arrive there from Cruz Bay. Michael went above in making us feel welcome, he even helped me in handling a flat tire issue so it was quickly resolved!

We only had a few questions as Michael provided great detail with documents and answered many questions via email before our arrival. The property is very well kept and the amenities are great. Our view was simply fantastic, the pictures of the property cannot do it justice! We overlooked Fish bay and had a huge range of view such that we could see much of that side of the island. At night you could leave the doors open and use the screens provided to hear the waves and enjoy the night air without seeing all the city lights as those are all hidden. We always had a great amount of privacy at the house and had everything we could think of included in the rental.

Air conditioning was included, many places do not have this. The pool was well kept with a great view of the bay. A very comfortable huge king size bed was also provided. The refrigerator (with freezer for ice) was a perfect size to hold cold drinks and food for breakfast/lunch. The bathroom was huge and the shower has a great view of the bay. Towels, beach chairs and two coolers are provided also which were a great help in our daily travels. You will not need an umbrella as the beaches almost all have natural shade from trees.

Overall the unit is amazing and once you stay there I believe you will also agree. After being on the island for 7 days and and seeing many of the other units we looked at up close I can see we made a great decision to stay with Michael. If we would have chosen one of the other locations I feel we would have been let down and not enjoyed our stay as much. After staying here it is easy to see why he has so many return guests.

If you visit St. John you owe it to yourself to have a great place and an amazing view, this is it!
