Del Sol Townhouses are located in west Sedona off highway 89A. Just two hours from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix and an easy shuttle ride to Sedona; this is a perfect location to experience the Red Rocks and Grand Canyon.
The initial attraction to Del Sol Townhouses were the spectacular views of the Red Rocks and the mature vegetation surrounding the townhouses. The brilliant white tiles throughout the unit and vaulted ceilings are a contrast to the Red Rocks and a reminder of the superb, integrated design. Additionally, we are comforted knowing the Verde Medical Center is less than a mile away. At the end of our street (less than one block) is the Sedona Public Library.
This space provides room for six adults or a family of six. The main floor consists of two bedrooms with large walk in closets, two full baths, laundry room, kitchen, dining and living room. A large deck is located off the dining and living area with spectacular views. A ground level studio with a bedroom and private bathroom provides additional space for guests or family.
High speed internet and direct TV is available to meet the needs of the business or family traveler. There is a work space available on the main floor, as well.
Close to other destination spots in the Southwest, this is a magnificent location for any traveler, but particularly for those who are able to spend some time enjoying the Red Rocks and surrounding world renowned, destination sights. Returning to Del Sol and the spectacular Red Rock views, after a day or two of touring, is a perfect culmination to this vacation retreat.
Jim and I live in Elizabethtown, New York, in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. Jim is a retired NYS Supreme Court Judge and I am a licensed mental health counselor and continue to work part time in a small private practice. We love to spend time at Del Sol and feel very fortunate to own properties in two beautiful parts of the country. At Del Sol we experience warmth, friendship and sunshine each day. After living many years with winter temperatures (I grew up in MN) the climate of Sedona is nearly perfect for us. In Sedona we love to hike year round, while at the same time experience winter sports in nearby Flagstaff. We are close to the Grand Canyon and other vacation destinations to include, Jerome, Palm Springs, CA, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, painted desert to name a few. We chose to purchase property at Del Sol Townhouses because we knew there was a beauty here for all our family, friends and guests to enjoy. We were impressed with the mature and meticulously maintained grounds. Additionally, we have spent many years restoring a very old home in NY and again were attracted to the well built older model of Del Sol Townhouse. We have updated, but retained the beautiful character of this unit. We had a choice of purchasing newer models, however, the views at Del Sol Townhouses are spectacular and made the decision easy for us to purchase here. At Del Sol Townhouse, we found a crown jewel- an established community within walking distance of many amenities to include the Verde Medical Center and Public Library. The public swimming pool is nearby, but not within walking distance and not part of the Del Sol community.
Unlike many developments, the mature vegetation at Del Sol Townhouses provide beauty, as well as privacy. Inside the townhouse we were impressed with the vaulted ceilings, ceiling to floor windows and again the views from inside and outside the townhouse.
This property is conveniently located near restaurants, groceries and shopping. The deck is great with good views and lots of birds! The kitchen is well equipped and there is ample space for comfortable living with beds for company. Nancy was easy to work with and responsive to our needs. The property was clean and overall we were very satisfied and would stay here again. Excellent price for the space available and view in a high end area. (The air conditioning could use upgrading).
We were delighted with the home ,the view from the deck is magnificent.The house is well appointed.The location was ideal and it is a nice peaceful area to relax in,while only minutes from West Sedona's restaurants and stores and a short trip to Uptown Sedona,and Routes 89a North and South and Route 179 to Oak Creek Village and the many awe inspiring drives through Red Rock Country.We were totally satisfied definitely worth a return visit,David and Jo-Ann

This exquisite property includes over 1,700 square feet of living space. It is located off 89A in the West side of Sedona. The living room, dining room and deck all offer great views of the famous red rocks of Sedona. The panoramic views go from Chimney Rock on the left to Thunder Mountain, Coffee Pot Rock, to downtown Sedona (actual view of the town is in a dip and not visible) and a view of the mountains including Steamboat Rock. The view continues with a pan to the right with a view of the mountains behind downtown Sedona, including Schnebly Hill. Further right are the montains just above Snoopy Rock (Snoopy isn't visible). A little further to the right is the Sedona Airport where you can see planes and helicopters take off. We have stayed at numerous resorts and homes in the Sedona area and have not found any that have the views of this Del Sol Townhome. There are numerous great restaurants and supermarkets very close by. Driving to downtown Sedona takes less than 10 minutes. The home is located about 12-15 miles from Cottonwood, which includes a Walmart and some very good steak and seafood restaurants. We also found an excellent restaurant close by Cornville. We loved their German dishes.
As another reviewer commented:" The price was excellent in comparison to other rentals and the condo was clean and nicely decorated in a “feel like home” way." I strongly agree and endorse this comment. I felt at times the A/C was over taxed on 90+ degree sunny days. However, it was acceptable, especially with ceiling fans in every room. Also, by bedtime it was as comfortable as we wanted no matter how hot it was outside during the day. I highly recommend this property and we plan to go back next year. I might add the owners are very easy to communicate with and are very responsive via email and phone.
With so many things to see and experience in Sedona, we were perfectly located at the Del Sol Townhouse. We did not leave hastily each morning but preferred to linger on the deck with a second cup of coffee watching the sun spotlight Thunder Mountain as well as the buttes and Red Rocks of the valley. The morning view from the deck is only outdone (if possible) by the sun setting on the same sights in the evening.
The unit itself is spacious yet private. It is casual while still lending itself to simple, elegant entertaining. If we might sum it up: it is what you want it to be. We found it to be perfect!
This was the first time my husband and I rented a condo for a long-term stay and we were very pleased with our experience. We performed an extensive search using VRBO as well as other facilities prior to making our selection and we couldn’t have been happier. The price was excellent in comparison to other rentals and the condo was clean and nicely decorated in a “feel like home” way. The beds were extremely comfortable which was important for me.
Sedona is a safe place to live but in addition we met several of the neighbours whom we found to be very friendly which added to our comfort level. The condo complex is quiet and close to the library. The location was excellent for us because we were away from the busy uptown area but still close to grocery shopping as well as several of our favourite restaurants. Our purpose for being in Sedona was to get away from the Canadian cold weather and take advantage of the great hiking trails. We could access many of these trails by taking a very short drive from the condo.
We are very pleased with our first experience and would highly recommend this rental unit.
We came to Sedona to hike in the fall and stayed at this wonderful rental. This is a great location! All the hikes we wanted to do were a short drive away. The views were spectacular and the rental is very large and comfortable for a longer stay. Great Restaurants and galleries are near so had full days and a perfect place to relax on the deck in the evening and enjoy the view. Great vacation would love to go again.
A place to stay where you have everything there is to offer in Sedona...Del Sol Townhouses are a partially gated choice development in west Sedona, located within walking distance of the public library and close proximity to the Verde Valley Medical Center. For families with adolescents and guests, the lower studio/bedroom provides a very comfortable place to experience some privacy. Del Sol Townhouses are secluded, yet close to all the amenities of this city to include the city of Sedona public swimming pool. The townhouse is within walking distance of some of the best hiking trails in the area. The open floor plan is spacious and tastefully decorated with local artwork displayed for the enjoyment of each guest. Dining on the deck is an experience you will remember with views of the red rocks and mountains from every angle. Summer rates are negotiable..so please inquire soon! All contracts reflect a three month minimum rental period. If the rent is too high, owner's will entertain an offer. We will try to make this work for you!!!
Other Activities: Pink Jeep Tours with views of the Red Rocks, Hot Air Ballooning, Wildlife viewing. Sorry, we cannot rent for less than ninety days.
Ski: Flagstaff, Arizona is approximately thirty miles from Sedona with an elevation of 7000 feet. Here you will find winter skiing and other winter sports. At the end of the day, return to Sedona, where the elevation is 4000 feet and a much milder climate.
