The apartment is perfectly located for seeing the attractions of Vienna. They are either a few blocks away (Karlskirche and Opera) or on the nearby underground lines at Karlsplatz or a nearby tram on the Ring..
There are nearby restaurants and bars. The street is quiet after 2200.
The apartment was clean and everything works but needs to be updated. The toilet is in a tiny room. The bath has no shower curtain.
Nice Apartment close to the Vienna Inner Ring
This apartment was a short walk to the Vienna Inner Ring. The tram and subway traversing the Inner Ring will take you to the museums, palaces and other places of interest. There is a supermarket and many restaurants within a short walk of the apartment.
The apartment is not n the second floor and the building has a small elevator. My wife and I had a nice stay at the apartment. The apartment does not have A/C and it does have 2 fans.
Very spacious, central, quiet and comfortable
Unpromising from the outside but a haven inside. On a side street and exceptionally quiet. Very large rooms and high ceilings. Good wifi with a handy modem you can take out with you, although it did need rebooting fairly often. The bed was very comfortable. Baths worked better than showers as there was no shower screen or curtain around the bath. We were there during their coldest April day ever with snow and sleet and the apartment was warm and cosy.
safe at Homw
Apartment was exactly how it was presented on VRBO. Eva had informative materials for us.
We felt safe within the building at all times.
The rental was clean and all appliances worked properly.
It was very easy to book. Eva and Michael responded quickly to our request.
Coffee, bakery, cafes, restaurants, very close, within minutes, and Naschmarkt was only 2 blocks away. Major plaza with various options of public transport only a 5 minute walk. So close to the city center you can walk every day.
Eva and Michael gave us many suggestions as to where to eat..coffee, bakery, lunch, dinner, sweets.
We will again be staying at one of their properties in 3 weeks.
With all its pluses I recommend a visit to this rental while in Vienna.
Volveremos a repetir.
Your are in the middle of the Vienna City Center in the "Freihausviertel".
Where the creative scene makes it home, hip establishments are so booming. The Freihausviertel in the vicinity of the Naschmarkt is a big attraction with its Numerous restaurants, bars and cafes.
The Naschmarkt is a must for connoisseurs. In the Neighboring Freihausviertel, small designer shops, modern galleries and a lively scene deliver urban flair. Schleifmühlgasse is to love especially popular place for many galleries and trendy dining establishments to set up shop. On the corner of Schleifmühlgasse / Naschmarkt is the cozy Café Amarcord. The Amacord is not only a café, so but a really good restaurant serving classical dishes of Viennese cuisine. For many artists and creative types based in the district, it is an extension to Their living rooms.
The next stop in Schleifmühlgasse is the little osteria Acht Ein Halb, offering Italian cuisine. A real institution can be found diagonally opposite: the legendary Café Anzengruber serves a mix of Viennese and Croatian cuisine, is famous for its good beer and enchants with its austere charm. Next door is Szigeti sparkling Comptoir. Bubbly from Burgenland's sparkling wine producer Szigeti is poured in the bar.
You'll feel completely Call at home at the full board as it looks just like a grandmother's living room - only a bit cooler. The vintage furniture, floor lamps and pictures create a comfortable atmosphere. The full board is a generational cafe: Grandma therefore stands behind the stove and serves home-baked cake and home-cooked dishes: such as roast pork and Austrian 'Krautfleckerl' while telling you her life stories.
