"We just returned home from our wonderful week-end stay at your charming home on Lookout Mt. It was the perfect place for us to be to fully enjoy our son's wedding at the Fairyland Club. So much nicer than staying in a hotel in town! We would love to come back when our week-end is freer to take in all of the sights. Thank you for sharing it with us."
Thank you so much for allowing us to be a guest in your home! Everyone loved the outside, when we pulled up they said it looked like a gingerbread home! It was perfect to be across the street from Rock City and Starbucks. The teens could walk to it and have a bit of freedom on vacation! We went to Ruby Falls and enjoyed the cool weather. It was stress free knowing we could bring our dogs, they are part of our family. Thank you again!
My family and I had such a wonderful stay in this comfortable home, we didn't want to leave. As others have said about this place, it's like visiting family. Such a great getaway in a great location. With a Starbucks to boot! We can't say enough about our stay and look forward to our next visit.
This property is right across the street from Rock City but it needs work. The upstairs mattress are very hard to sleep on. Bathroom and bedroom doors do not lock (privacy issues) and only a sheer curtain on the downstairs bathroom window (you can see right in the shower from outside). Electrical plugs didn't work and the downstairs bedroom TV kept going on and off. If we forgot to unplug the TV at night it would come on about 4 am in the morning and wake us up (talk about scary). The living room chairs were obviously antique but needed to be reupholstered so we never used the living room. A key was broken in the kitchen door and you couldn't open it. On the plus side the kitchen and bathrooms have been updated. It has wood floors and some of the architecture is beautiful, the home should be kept up. The pictures don't represent the home now.
The house was adorable. We all had a very nice stay. The location cannot be beat. So close to Rock City. Totally worth staying there if only to walk to Starbucks in the morning and watch the traffic you don't have to hassle with.
Needs repairs. Concerned about water damage/air quality. Rate was very reasonable.
My friends and I enjoyed staying here. The property is well represented by the pictures on the website. It was a roomy house and it had everything we needed. The included linens was a helpful touch! We were able to walk across the street and enjoy Rock City as well as take a short drive down the mountain into Downtown Chattanooga. The property owner was very easy to contact and quick to answer my questions. She was also very accommodating regarding arrival and departure times. I would stay here again.
