One of the best cabin stays we've ever done.
We went for a 3 day weekend. Parked the car at the cabin and didn't leave the lake once.
We had 3 teenage girls, none of whom had ever fished. The lake is really well stocked and we caught a bunch mid size trout. We spent most of the days swimming and playing with the kayaks and boats, BBQ'ing and taking in the breathtaking mountain views and nature. In the evening the girls went frog and toad hunting. (and one turtle I think). We saw the resident Osprey catching fish after fish and then had s'mores on the fire in the evening.
It was a long trip from the Bay Area (6 hours), but we'll be back!
Thank you for the great review. We look forward to your next visit.
Absolutely, Well... PERFECT!
My family absolutely loved our stay! So relaxing, no city noise, no cell service, great fishing steps away from the cabin, I could go on and on! The cabin has anyything you could ever need, the Simmons's are excellent hosts and make sure you feel totally welcome and at home on their property. My 13 and 9 year old daughters have asked for us to come back every year. My only issue, I didn't find this place years ago! We will definitely be back if they will have us! Don't hesitate...just book it!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. We hope your family will be back again and again.

It’s A well equipped cabin overseeing a small lake. I really enjoyed my time there. I would go back when possible

We had an amazing experience. We needed a place to accommodate our grown children (and their dogs) where we could celebrate an early Thanksgiving with my Dad that lives in Hoopa. The cabin was well appointed with everything we needed. Everyone was comfortable and had a great time. The power did go out briefly but Gary and Brenda made sure our needs were taken care of. The power outage was an added bit of fun. This is a wonderful family get away - we are looking to go back! Thank you.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review of our property and for being such good sports regarding the power outage. Also, the cabins were left very clean and it was appreciated.
I loved it! Very peaceful and relaxing trip for me, just what I needed. Great host, great people and just a great place to get away.
