Our weekend getaway was wonderful. Gina is very friendly and the cabin is super clean, lovely, cozy, and has everything you need. Just bring food! Surrounded by trees and nature, our family is looking forward to going back to experience different seasons. We went into Bentonsport, which is a quaint village with artisan shops. Our younger kids loved it too! There were plenty of games and DVDs and we all loved just getting away and spending time together. Thank you, Gina!
This is a great cabin to go unplug at in Southern Iowa. We really hope to make a return trip soon! Very clean! It was spacious enough for a family to be together and have their own space. Nicely stocked kitchen too - very impressed - there was even a blender, crockpot and several spices!
We just left there yesterday and we can't quit talking about how nice it was. Where else can you stay in a secluded cabin with central air? We didn't get a lot of fish but we did get a couple catfish and blue gill. We went to the nearby park and swam for 4 hrs, and hiked the parks trails. It was very nice they had a propane grill big enough for a lot of steaks and chicken. This cabin even had coffee bean grinder I took mine and didn't use it. our beds were comfy, and ALL the games they had was fun! I was surprised there was a TV, which came in handy when it rained. Everyone enjoyed themselves and was very pleased with the price of this place, we will be back! Thank You Gina!
We recently spent a week at this cabin and found it to be a great experience. It was super clean and included all the necessities from home. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the cooking pots, pans and utensils you need. There is wonderful shade on the deck which made it the place to hangout during the late afternoon- early evening hours.
The Dutchmann in Cantril was a fun find during an afternoon of exploring Van Buren County.
We began recommending this cabin to family & friends as soon as we returned home.
Cabin was great, as always. Everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Private pond is awesome and peaceful. Can't wait to get back!
