If you want to enjoy the country, peaceful setting and be close to everything; we have the location. Only 5 minutes to downtown. Also we have miles of walking and biking trails around the lake only a block away
Beautiful views of Coeur d' Alene lake. Road to driveway is level and county maintained for easy winter access. Only a block away from Independence Trail that is miles of paved trails along Lake Coeur d Alene and beach access all around.
First off...Judy was extremely accommodating after my wife and I had some arrival issues. The location of the property is absolutely stunning. Amazing views of the sunsets and sunrises on the water and the mountains through the floor to ceiling picture windows. The house itself is terrific. Be aware that you will be climbing stairs in and out of the house and that simply can't be avoided. The internal stairway is a tight spiral staircase. It was scary at first...but after a few up and downs we figured it out and it wasn't an issue. We looked at the stairs as our daily workout! That justified eating way more than we should have at all the restaurants that Judy recommended in her welcome folder. The house has plenty of comfortable sleeping quarters and places to meet and mingle. With just the two of us the house felt very large. We only used the bottom floor. Judy included a lot of nice amenities such as soap and shampoo. All in all it was a marvelous experience. Thanks so much Judy.
Quirky architecture with a great view. Took the kids and they loved the spiral staircase. Beautiful view through the trees. Owners were great to work with. Very helpful.
Enjoyed the fireplace every night. Comfy bed, super clean. So wild we had to chase the deer off the road as we pulled in. Lovely place.
Perfect location, close to town. Very nice cabin. Clean and comfortable. Owners were very helpful. We loved our stay there. Only one problem for us because we are 74 years old. The access to the lower level (where the main living area, kitchen bath and master bedroom were located) was either down a spiral staircase or down a long flight of stairs outside and then back up a flight of stairs to the living area. We were not able to carry our ice chest or suitcases up or down the stairs. Our son-in-law had to come over to do it for us. It was an odd layout entering on the loft bedroom level. Also the outside picnic area was at the bottom of a long flight of stairs. We were not going to carry dishes, food, etc. down to the outdoor area. This was a personal problem for us and may not affect a younger family. The cabin was well equipped and the view was fabulous.
This property was very homey, comfortable, and clean. It is very close to town and easy to access. The views of the lake from all the rooms was incredible. There is a nice picnic and sitting area outside. It was also very close to a paved trail along the lake. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed including several DVD's. It also had guest access to wifi much to my teenager's delight.
This property view is unbelievable! Beautiful sunsets, beautiful views of the lake all set in the pines. It was easy acess and close to town to town but seemed like you were miles away in the quiet of the wilderness. The property was spotless and the owners were delightful.
