Enjoy views of Moores Pond and Little Pisgah Mountain from this 2 bedroom/one bath Guest House. Recently remodeled, your vacation retreat has a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, wood floor in the living area, central air/heat, and a wood-burning fireplace. Amenities include WiFi, satellite and cable TV, AM/FM, CD, DVD, VCR, Gas outdoor grill, outdoor furniture. A two acre pond is ready for canoeing, sitting and enjoying watching herons and a variety of birds, or feeding the resident Mallards. There are miles of hiking trails in the woods on this 50-acre property, from moderate to strenuous. An additional highlight is that this is a small working farm, with various crops growing in season and a small French Alpine dairy goat herd. Two of our five does had 5 kids in late March (19th and 20th), the other 3 does will kid in early May and early June.
Located in Fairview, only 11 miles southeast of Downtown Asheville (6 miles from city limits) and 6 miles from I-40 and the Blue Ridge Parkway, this private residence is in the country, yet very convenient to the many attractions of the area, including the Biltmore Estate, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock State Park, and (of course) the mountains with their spectacular views, waterfalls, and tourist attractions. Every season has its gifts, from summer festivals and craft fairs to fall color, winter holidays at the Biltmore House, and spring blossoms. There is an Amish Market (bakery, fresh eggs, and other goodies) next door...across the pasture.
NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY, in other words, NON-SMOKERS ONLY.

The mountains of Western North Carolina, near Asheville, are one of most beautiful and relaxing places in the world, if you exclude pulling weeds.
The views from the 50+ acre property and lake are wonderful. The birds, horses, goats and other animals are a joy to behold.
The home is perfect, clean, safe and quiet. The beds were comfortable with TV's in each room. The kitchen is clean with everything we needed. We loved walking down to the pond to check on the goats, cat and lama in the evenings. We didn't check the pond for fish, but we did find a large group of frogs close to shore. The chickens were closer to the house but very quiet, we were actually sad there was no rooster waking us up earlier. Chuck and Sarah are very nice people!
We had a great stay and the Moore's Pond location was perfect for our wedding weekend- especially impressed with the great kitchen and how well it was equipped . The place was quiet and an easy drive to Asheville as well . We'd definitely come to stay again !
Our family will definitely be planning a trip out there again! The house has everything you need & more. The kids & dogs enjoyed visiting the goats & chickens daily. The view from our patio was gorgeous!
Beautiful property with hiking trails onsite. They had just delivered a baby goat less than a hour before we arrived. Very convenient to many of Asheville attractions including downtown.
We had a great time on the farm. Plenty of places to roam. Had a great time hanging out with the goats and visiting the Amish store. You must try the sticky buns. Asheville is a quick 15 minutes away. We will be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moore's Creek Farm. My husband and I needed a getaway to celebrate our anniversary and found this to be the answer. It was off the beaten path; however, very convenient to Biltmore Estates, Downtown Asheville, Grove Park Inn & local attractions. Sarah and Chuck provided a warm, cozy environment for us, including fresh eggs upon our arrival. They were delicious paired with Troyer's sourdough bread and butter our first morning. (Troyer's Amish Store-neighboring property & a short walk-was a treat!) We left with lots of baked goods, deli and dairy items to enjoy at home AND wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a memorable trip!
