Loved it. We stayed after a family wedding to just relax. Sarah was very helpful and we all loved hanging out in the shade in the backyard. I wish I didn't live so far away - otherwise I'd be back!
The cottage was perfect for our first trip to the Hamptons. My family of 4 had plenty if room and spent hours in the big backyard. Sarah is VERY accommodating. We highly recommend this property.
We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend and have nothing but good things to say about the cottage. The location was perfect - close enough to walk to town and easy access to surrounding towns, too. The cottage also boasts great decor throughout. We loved the light color palette and classic cottage touches that say "summertime" without the ubiquitous "Beach House" throw pillows ;). Really comfy beds, too! Sarah was easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. We would definitely come back!
Pleasant cottage fully appointed with all the necessities; quick walk to heart of town, with interesting shops and lots of dining options. Owner was very accommodating, and provided lots of helpful information.
My husband and I and our teenage daughters stayed in Sarah's cottage this summer and were blown away by the welcome we recieved and what a stunning place this was to stay!
The cottage had everything we could have needed and was well looked after and just as the photos had portrayed. It was so peaceful and relaxing after a hectic few days in the city!
We loved Sag harbour and found that the amenities were great- good restaurants especially for seafood and good provisions store.
Loved visitiong all the gorgeous places we had read about and we especially loved Montauk for the beaches and its quirkiness!
We will certainly visit again and would reccomend the cottage to anyone!
This cottage really is chocolate box sweet and charming in a fabulous area. We stayed with our two children 5 and 3 who also loved the house.
The cottage is very welcoming - when we arrived Sarah had turned all the lights on and the heating on which was very welcome after our journey from Ireland. My first impressions was that the house smelt fresh and was spotlessly clean. The decor was stylish without being too 'precious' and there were enough lamps and books etc to make it feel homely and genuine.
The kitchen is small but perfectly formed and has adequate plates, glassware, pans etc. Also a coffee maker and sharp knives (sounds obvious but self catering places never have enough knives to cook with!).
The beds were very, very comfortable, a soft firm. The bed linen was stylish and very good quality.
There is a box of outdoor toys in the basement and a chest of games upstairs - we loved introducing our children to some retro holiday games - perfection and operation! There is also a chess set and cards etc. Netflix works on the TV which was a HUGE hit with my children and there is a stereo with docking station.
We found it very easy travelling into Sag Harbor and there is a lovely park in walking distance from the house with a play park for children.
Overall we thought the house was the perfect holiday home. We highly recommend it.
