We use this house for friends and family so you will find it has all the amenities throughout. Three bedrooms to accommodate 6 people in a Master with one King bed and en-suite bathroom. Two bedrooms with Queen beds share a full bath with tub and shower. The street is very quiet and has no through traffic. The canal out back has no through traffic either so the only boat traffic is from residents. There are several restaurants and bars within a short bike ride or walking distance. Hudson Beach too is within walking distance. The main through roads in the neighborhood have sidewalks. Its a fantastic place to enjoy a quiet getaway.

I encourage you to look at the reviews from my guests and compare to reviews of other properties. I also would like to explain the local sales tax on short term rentals is 9%. If you are looking at a property for less than 6 months I am required to charge you sales tax.

Why Walter Kees Barfield chose Hudson

I love to fish and had a 28 ft fishing boat. This property gave me what I considered one of the best locations for Gulf access of any other properties in the area. Convenient to get to the marina for gas or just get out quickly with very little idle time. The house is on a VERY quiet street with the best deep water canal in Sea Ranch.

We enjoyed our stay at your house at 13805 on Cox Ave in Hudson. We found the house exceptionally clean and very attractively done. Great beds, nice towels, and bedding and a nice Flat Screen TV. We couldn't get over the quality of the picture with Blu Ray movies. The house is in a good location, especially for any one interested in swimming with the manatees at Crystal Springs and visiting the Greek sponge fishing community at Tarpon Springs as it sits about half way between them both. We enjoyed being on the canal. It is lovely to sit outside in

the morning with a coffee and watch the ducks swimming by. We found

the house close to supermarkets, pharmacies and general shopping. The ladies enjoyed being within a few miles of TJ Maxx. We would certainly recommend your place to anyone seeking accommodations in this area.

This was our 2nd year staying at this property. We enjoyed our vacation very much and could not ask for a nicer owner. Any questions we had were answered promptly. We would recommend this for anyone wanting a nice quiet neighborhood and relaxing on the canal.

Great Stay in Hudson

The house was very clean, was furnished very nicely and the owner was very responsive. The furniture and appliances were new or like new. The beds were comfortable with plenty of linens and pillows. The bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. We really enjoyed the bikes and 2 man kayak. Dock is in a deep water canal and just a few minutes away from the Hudson Beach. We'll be happy to rent again when staying in the Hudson area.

Family Reunion

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Walter's house in Hudson, FL from November 8th to the 11th. Walter was very helpful and took the time to meet us at his house to explain all about it. He went through the items we needed to know and answered all of our questions.

He told us to call him anytime with any questions we might have. We did have an issue with the TV operation and he came over within a half an hour to resolve the problem.

The house was clean and stocked with anything we would need during our stay. The only suggestion I have would be to add some more dishes and towels to the inventory of the house.

The house was ideally located for what we wanted to do and we visited some of the sites that Walter recommended to us. There were plenty of restaurants,malls and tourist attractions in the area.

We would recommend Walter's house to anyone who has up to 6 people in their group, and we would rent the house again on another trip to the area.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your feedback. We take the information from guests and do our best to make sure future guests have a great experience when they stay with us. We are adding a new set of very nice pottery dishes. Towels and wash cloths are consistently getting replaced and added to. I probably should have made sure you were aware of all the places the additional towels were stored. There are typically at least 14 towels for our guests. I am adding 6 more to be sure there are plenty. Please keep us in mind for any future travel plans to the area. Walter Barfield

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful little peace of heaven

Quiet little neighborhood! We felt at home in this house. What a great way to wake up every morning and drink coffee on the back patio. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit!

Walter we loved our stay and didn't wanna leave! Hope to be back soon!

House on the canal.

We stayed at the house for 3 months and enjoyed our time very much. Very relaxing along the canal and watching all the wildlife come and go, The house is very well supplied with all we needed. We had additional family and they also enjoyed their time there with us.

The Standard Monthly Rate is $2400.00 October 15th through April 30th. Call for Customized dates and pricing. If your desired dates are less than 60 days out and your stay is for more than 1 week the payment of 50% is due to reserve the property and is non-refundable. For longer stays (1 month or more) payment in full is required 30 days before your arrival and is non refundable. If you have paid in full and have to cancel, I will attempt to get someone to rent during the dates you reserved and credit you back the amount they pay. If you have paid an advanced deposit for a stay of greater than one week and find out you cannot stay with us, we will refund your deposit as long as it is more than 60 days before your arrival date. Short Stays (one week or less) may receive a deposit refund if cancelled 30 days or more before arrival. 3 night minimum stays require payment in full during the Summer Rate season of May 1st to October 15th. Stays of less than 2 full weeks will incur a $100 Cleaning Fee. For Longer Stays (more than 2 weeks) contact me to customize the quote and remove the cleaning fee before making your payment.
