We use this house for friends and family so you will find it has all the amenities throughout. Three bedrooms to accommodate 6 people and a pull out sofa with powered air mattress for 2 more. Master with one King bed and en-suite bathroom. Two bedrooms with Queen beds share a full bath with tub and shower. The street is very quiet and has no through traffic. The canal out back has no through traffic either so the only boat traffic is from residents. There are several restaurants and bars within a short bike ride or walking distance. Hudson Beach too is within walking distance. The main through roads in the neighborhood have sidewalks. Its a fantastic place to enjoy a quiet getaway.
I encourage you to look at the reviews from my guests and compare to reviews of other properties. The local sales tax on short term rentals is 10.8%. If you are looking at booking a property for less than 6 months I am required to charge you sales tax.
Homeaway/VRBO does charge a service charge to travelers who book online. Owners do not get any of this service charge or the Damage protection Insurance.

I love to fish and had a 28 ft fishing boat. This property gave me what I considered one of the best locations for Gulf access of any other properties in the area. Convenient to get to the marina for gas or just get out quickly with very little idle time. The house is on a VERY quiet street with the best deep water canal in Sea Ranch.

Wonderful Place to Stay
The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and fully furnished with everything you need. The location on the canal was perfect and accessible to the gulf by boat in minutes. For a fisherman and a boater, having a boat lift and a perfectly situated dock is as good as it can get! Additionally, a commercial grade ice machine with an endless supply of ice is just over the top! The owner is the nicest and most accommodating person you'll ever meet and responds immediately to any question. Can't wait to get back.

Water front bungalow with all you need!
This house literally has it all. We had two families with all boys looking for a cool place to fish and play. The boat dock out back was perfect to fish off of all day. You can dock a boat if you want. It is on a deep canal. The house was spotless from top to bottom. The kitchen had everything you need and more. There is a garage full of extra amenities.. large ice maker, 2nd refrigerator, deep freeze, bikes and beach toys. There was plenty of space for the 4 adults and 3 kids/teenagers. We took a couple of day trips to some beaches. Clearwater is about an hour away. There is a small beach close to the house in Hudson. Case was a wonderful host. He is close by if you do have a problem. Which we did not. Love this house. We will be back!
Happy In Hudson
My husband and I loved our months stay in Salt Air Retreat and in the town of Hudson . The house is so cute ! It was clean, cheerful and comfortable, with a fully equipment stocked kitchen and lots of bath and kitchen towels. I had asked the owner, Walter if there was a place to hang some clothing that I didnt want to dry in the clothes dryer. He brought a clothes tree type hanger for me to hang my clothes to dry. What a nice guy ! My husband and I could look out the many windows in the rooms in the house and see the water in the canal. It was great ! We wanted to stay again next year but someone beat us to reserving it, darn it. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a very nice place to stay, a real "home away from home".

The home is fabulously maintained and is equipped with everything one may need.
It was a great experience and extremely relaxing to have rented this home for the month of February 2018. My wife and I highly recommend renting this home and if we can arrange for a Florida trip next Winter, this home would definitely be our first choice of rental if available. The house is modern , has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a formal dining area and a fantastic sun room. It is equipped with cable television and very high speed download and upload WIFI speeds. The back patio overlooks a yacht canal that we found very relaxing. The home has more than an enough linens, towels, etc. along with everything you would need to cook at home. Also has a very good washing machine and cloths dryer. It was also very nice to have your own driveway that can accommodate two cars along with another car in front of the home. Driveway also has an awning that protects your car(s).
As with other rental comments, the home is very clean! The owner is very pleasant and accommodating.

Perfect base for holidays & visiting Florida
Kees Barfield welcomed me to his house that really is a home. I enjoyed spending time there during the Christmas and New Year holidays when I visited family nearby, and then the month of January when friends and family joined me in the spacious home. The house is well equipped, airy, and cheerful. Kees was both totally accessible for any question and discreet. His good reviews were a major reason for my selecting this rental and I was not disappointed.

If your desired dates are less than 60 days out and your stay is for more than 1 week the payment of 25% is due to reserve the property and is non-refundable. For longer stays (1 month or more) payment in full is required 30 days before your arrival and is non refundable. If you have paid in full and have to cancel, I will attempt to get someone to rent during the dates you reserved and credit you back the amount they pay. If you have paid an advanced deposit for a stay of greater than one week and find out you cannot stay with us, we will refund your deposit as long as it is more than 60 days before your arrival date. Short Stays (one week or less) may receive a deposit refund if cancelled 30 days or more before arrival. 4 night minimum stays require payment in full during the Summer Rate season of May 1st to October 15th.
