***Newly updated! *** This luxury townhouse right on the water with 2 bedrooms on 2 separate floors and private bath. Located in the heart of Provincetown on Commercial Street. Your own beach is right out the door. Tastefully decorated by a local artist with everything you need - gorgeous maple hardwoods through-out, full stainless/granite kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, blender; living area includes 22-inch TV/VCR/DVD/VCD player, cable TV, CD player, a lending library in house; private bathroom with tub and shower, two bedrooms with new, queen-size, posturpedic, plush, pillow-top bed in master bedroom and 2 twins (can be put together) in second bedroom - both bedrooms have wonderful views of the harbor & TV/DVD; chaise lounges and breakfast table on the deck overlooking the beach. Local property management available to assist if you should have problems during your stay.

The location is in the downtown/East End Gallery District area between Johnson and Center Streets, across from the brand new Library (with internet access!), and near Cafe Blase', Essential's Convenience, Far Land Provisions, Squealing Pig, Pepe's, etc.

I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful trip in Provincetown! Your townhouse is beautiful and a perfect location! You were exactly right we really didn't need the car once we got to your place. We did use it to go to Chatham, a really pretty town too! We did a morning and a sunset whale watch, they were both fabulous! Not to mention, tons of shopping, really neat shops in ptown. We also did the pirate museum, very interesting! I just wished that we had planned more time to see some other things on the Cape. You were right there is a lot to see! We went non stop just about every day! The weather was absolutely perfect. We had a wonderful trip! Your place is really quaint and very comfortable. I loved how it was decorated! We had no real problems with anything. We did get there very late Friday night (we got lost in Boston), so I am glad that the light was on!! Everything about the place was just perfect. Well, I didn't mean to write a book on this, but I wanted you to know that we had a wonderful trip! Thanks again for letting us use your place. Cheers!

Pam Frazier

P.S. the people watching was awesome!!!!

I don't believe we'll find another rental opportunity that comes with an option for your 10-month-old to lose the TV remote -- absolutely free of charge.

The place was exactly what everyone needs at Provincetown. Easy access to everything there is to do on Commercial Street, yet set back from the noise. Comfortable beds. A fully-equipped kitchen with every cooking utensil one could possibly need. Enough space to hang out on a rainy day and read the Globe but no more room than you need.

It's a terrific value especially for people who might want to rent off-peak in May or September. Next time we return to the Cape, we won't need to think twice about our destination (Provincetown has it all) or our rental (yours).

Thanks for everything,

Dave and Anna Jones

Your PT abode was the perfect place on a cold and snowy holiday weekend. We arrived during the height of the storm on Friday and found our way through Merchant's Row and upstairs to #3. Since we were the only ones, we trekked through the snow and needless to say, were very happy to arrive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Your home was very pleasant, warm, clean, and central to everything. It was one of the best condos I've stayed in during my many years to Ptown!

I imagine summertime is very pleasant, the deck, the views, things to do. I'd be interested in a week-long rental during the summer. I don't have any dates in mind but if you have any openings, please e-mail me back.

I'd be glad to serve as a reference. I've rented many condominiums and homes in town these many years, mostly on 'the high end' (up to $3000.) because attractiveness/comfort, location and cleanliness is important to us. #3 was priced right for the weekend during the season is the right price considering all of the above PLUS the view!

I'd recommend it, gladly.

Again, thank you for sharing your special place.

I wanted to thank you for sharing your wonderful spot it P'Town with us, it was truly wonderful! The weather was great, the whales were plentiful, wine and song just amazing! And of course lovely neighbors.

About Leslie

Grew up on the Cape, we love Provincetown. My mom was a Provincetown Artist, now deceased. This was for years her 'Plein Air' artist studio - Her influence can be felt in this beautiful place and location.

Leslie purchased this townhome in 1993

Why Leslie chose Cape Cod

Sit on the deck overlooking the harbor and you'll understand why we bought this place!

What makes this townhome unique

At this particular part of Ptown, the land gets a little wider so even though we are right in the heart of town the building is set back from the noise of Commercial St. The 4rth of July parade could be going by and you wouldnt know it!

Guestbook comments from the owner

You cant ask for a better spot to watch everything that is going on in the harbor and the beach - and the fireworks from this deck are just spectacular! We loved this place! We've come back many times over the past 20 years and there isnt anything to not like. The breezes are wonderful here when the rest of town seems oppressive because it sits out right over a wharf. The views are unbelievable - honestly it takes your breathe away. Thanks for so many wonderful years - hope to be back next year!

NOTE - Dont know why it says 3 Commercial St - it is actually located within a 1 minute walk to Macmillan Wharf and is in the center of town

Excellent in every way

From the communication to the ease of directions once we arrived, we had a perfect host. She arranged parking, even at the last minute! The location couldn't be better and the view is spectacular. The location was ideal, and, though only steps from both the beach and Commercial Street, utterly quiet. We will be back! Thank you for providing a space that completed the perfect family vacation!

The best location!

  • 5 of 5

Finally after 20 years of coming to Provincetown, we have found the perfect place that we want to come back to year after year!

The views off the deck are to die for... and just a few steps down bad your on the beach. I do love going out to Herring Cove, but sometimes you'll just want to sit out on your own beach and that takes less than a minute to do!

Our friends rented the unit 1 down from us that Leslie arranged, so it was really nice we could each have our own space but be close to them. The layout was perfect for both of us!

This place is a gem. It is located right in town, but also right on the Beach. We spent a week there in Sept '15 and had a great time. Our townhouse was a 2-bedroom with a kitchen and upper level bedrooms. It was very clean.

The property was well represented on their websites and exactly as expected.

There's NO Other place I'd rather stay - EXCELLENT location and Wow views!!

We have stayed at this beautiful condo for years. This years new additional of central A/C in the bedrooms was much appreciated, although there was really only one day we needed it - it sure was nice to have it that one hot sticky day!

You can't beat the location - right near Macmillan Wharf, yet set back from the street so very quiet especially considering it's central location. The beds are super comfy and one night we even slept out on the deck under the stars!

Our week was a great one - Blessing of the Fleet on one weekend and 4rth of July fireworks on the next! You can't pick a better location for watching the fireworks. The deck literally overlooks the wharf. There's nothing negative I can say other than I hate leaving every year. They now have bought the unit next door, so next year we are going to invite friends and rent both units! Just not sure what week yet!

Thanks again for yet another year's awesome vacation!

I cant think of a finer place to stay in for a mid-August Carnival week. The deck overlooking the harbor is delightful and so were the neighbors! We had a blast here and have been back for different events over the past few years! This was our first summer week and the feel is very different from off-season. The unit is off from the street, facing the beautiful harbor and yet we were just a few steps up the cobblestone path to all the Carnival craziness. I loved that the unit is on Commercial St but not right ON Commercial St, if you know what I mean.... And if your going to pick one week for fun, this really was a great week to pick. We aren't much in terms of partiers but the town was alive with lots of fun events and of course the parade.

The unit is perfect! Yes the stairs are spiral (BUT not at all like a ladder as the last lady mention - perhaps if you are severely obese you may have some difficulty navigating them, otherwise we find its no big deal) The kitchen is up to date, but honestly with all the restaurants Ptown has to offer you most likely wont do too much cooking. The breezes on the deck are wonderful because it does sit out over the beach.

Love this place! Thank you for offering the week - next time we want to come for Bear Week or Maybe even Spooky Bear!!!

Great location, great home!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I just left this great place last week. We come to Ptown regularly and everyone voted this the best place so far. Why? Location, view, accessibility to the beach and Commercial St while still a very quite, clean, well-equipped, and comfortable house at a fair price. Plus it includes parking, which is a huge plus. My teenagers walked right off of our deck to go kayaking and paddle-boarding as well as shopping. Very special! Thanks.

Great location, but.....

  • 3 of 5

The spiral staircase (practically just a ladder) was really difficult to maneuver with luggage, etc. And a middle of the night potty trip was downright scary!

The stove in the kitchen had no instructions and was not standard. I sent a message for help, but the helper arrived after we needed him.

The temperature was lovely, but since cooling is dependent on open windows and fans, rainy days prevented it so everything wouldn't get wet.

Parking...Be sure to use unloading zone on street when you arrive or shop because the parking spot requires a mile-long hike!

I'll end by re-stating that the location is great!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind words on our great location! Indeed it is! Just a reminder, to find FREE "in & out" parking for the week right in the heart of town is near impossible as anyone who comes to Ptown knows. We do have the Johnson Street parking lot literally immediately next to the unit if you do not wish to use the dedicated spot we paid for you to use during your stay. There are also many side streets with free parking in this area. According to mapquest the in-season parking spot we provide is 5 minutes by foot (we know we walk it all the time) with no hills, literally a minute just past the convenience stores, which can be convenient :) - mapquest states that it's 450 meters which equates to just 0.27 of a mile away. This is a small price to pay to get this beautiful location and most people use the unloading zone, then go park their car for the week and dont really need it again during the week since the town is such a wonderful walking town. But if you do, its just a 5 minute walk away. Having a car in this town does not have any advantages over coming without a car, only the disadvantage of parking and unlike most condo owners, we have tried to resolve that with providing in-season parking literally just 5 minutes away which travelers who have been to Ptown really appreciate! But you do not have to park there, you can find something right next to the condo if you want to park within a seconds walk of the condo - it's just there if you need it! The pictures do clearly show a spiral staircase in the unit. Many of the units do have them. It is a proper staircase and not at all like a ladder, but it does go around as you go up the flight of stairs. In 20 years we have not received any complaints from the multiple units we have that have them installed, but for future renters reading this I will say that they might be difficult to maneuver if you had a toddler just learning to walk, are confined to a wheelchair, or are severely obese. There is a retractable gate at the top that goes back unoticed into the wall for those renters bringing small children if you want to restrict access going downstairs once you put your child to bed. BTW, we have A/C in both bedrooms this year which was a much appreciated addition!!
