About Nadia Brydon
I've lived in Fulham for over 30 years and love it here. I have worked part time for the last 10 years for a charity supporting women with breast cancer and been involved in complementary medicine and nutrition for at least 25 years. I have just finished doing a Masters in International Public Health Nutrition (phew!). However, I have done B&B on and off for over 20 years and love meeting and welcoming all the wonderful people who visit from all over the world and come and stay at my very British B&B.
Nadia Brydon purchased this Apartment in 2007
Why Nadia Brydon chose Hammersmith
I chose to buy in Fulham because it is in Central London and yet in a lovely green and leafy safe residential area just a short ride on public transport directly into the city centre. Walking is only minutes to a wide range of restaurants, shops, English pubs, parks, shopping centres, the Thames and lovely antique shops. It's so quiet and yet so central.
What makes this Apartment unique
I bought my house and completely gutted it from top to bottom which was great fun to do. The house is decorated in natural materials using natural fabrics, stone, wood and marble. It's very bright and light and airy. Lots of attention to detail and the house is kept immaculately clean and tidy by my lovely cleaning lady. It is requested shoes are removed at the front door which helps keep the house so clean. You will be nurtured and well looked after here. It really is a cozy haven in the centre of London with a lovely garden to rest in at the end of the day or have your breakfast on the patio on warm sunny days before the start of your sight seeing. Because it is quite small it has a lovely cottagy feeling about it. I hope you love it like I do!

A lovely apartment and an even lovelier host
My wife and I travel extensively worldwide and have stayed in dozens of apartments. Nadia’s Apartment was without question the nicest experience we have ever had. The Apartment itself is lovely and extremely comfortable (best bed ever). The garden is quiet and quite lovely—many birds, sometimes cats, and the occasional red fox visit. The best feature, however, is Nadia herself. She is beyond question the best host we have ever encountered; she provides many lovely amenities (including great breakfast items and snacks) and is gracious beyond words. We have stayed with Nadia three times, and anytime we’re in London her garden Cody cottage will always be our first choice. Don’t miss out on this lovely getaway gem.
Thank you so much for your lovely review of my Cozy Cottage studio rental in zone 2 Central London. I am so glad you had such a great time during your stays. I've been offering my rental with VRBO/HomeAway for 10 years now and really love doing it and meeting all my fabulous guests many of whom return time and time again. All the great reviews make it so worthwhile. Thank you. Hope to see you again one day.
lovely clean cozy cottage
Nadia was very helpful with information on how best to get around London. A very clean cottage with a lovely homely feel to the place. we would stay here again.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and look forward to hosting you again one day.
Cozy Cottage Stay
Perfect, snug little getaway with all the amenities. Nadia was hospitable but unobtrusive and offered helpful advice about transportation and eateries. Couldn’t have asked for more.
So glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you so much for taking the trouble to post such a lovely review.
Comfortable, private, convenient.
Nadia is very welcoming and thoughtful, she includes breakfast which is picked before you arrive from a large menu. The kitchen is tiny but serviceable, as is the bathroom. We had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Nadia was happy to let us us her clothes washer when needed and there is a dryer in our the kitchen.
The area is well served by buses. We made a point of riding them to South Kensington and beyond just to see the city. The underground, Barons Court, is a lovely ten minute walk and the Piccadilly Line goes straight to Heathrow.
It served our needs perfectly. Thank you Nadia.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. So glad the accommodation and location fitted the bill for you. It was lovely having you both staying.
Charming, private and close to attractions
Cozy Cottage was a delight; charming, private, well-equipped, and close to transportation. If you are enthusiastic walkers, you will be able to walk to the major attractions in Westminster. There is much to see along the way. Nadia was thorough and professional from our first contact with her. We would definitely stay again.
So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for you lovely review.
We stayed 4 nights in this lovely cottage. The location as well as the cottage was perfect. Private entrance a real plus and garden was beautiful. Nadia had everything you could want for a wonderful breakfast. She catered to our every need. We were at the beginning of a month holiday and used her washer to leave with fresh clothing. Nadia thank you for sharing your cottage with us.
Thank you for your great review. So happy you enjoyed the secluded garden and private entrance, breakfasts and location. It is so easy to get in to the centre of London to see all the sights.
Property is located in zone 2 in the pretty and popular upmarket London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and therefore is in the centre of London. Area is in lovely quiet residential area yet has everything just a stones throw away. Public transport amazing and just one minute from 8 different buses going directly to all major London tourist attractions (Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Waxworks, China town, Harrods, London Eye, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Sq etc) , shopping (Bond St, Knightsbridge, Oxford St, Kings Road etc) , theatres (the theatre scene around Soho and Leicester Sq), museums (V&A, Science Museum, Natural History, British Museum etc), and takes just half an hour at the most. Going in the opposite direction Kew Gardens is just 30 minutes away. Tube/Underground just 10 minutes walking to Piccadilly, Circle, District and Hammersmith and City lines. Heathrow about 45 minutes only and Gatwick takes about 1 1/2 hours. Just 1 minute from the house are masses of antique shops, restaurants, pubs, grocery shops etc only minutes from front door and we are 10 minutes from major shopping centres including Westfield. Portobello Road for antiques shopping on a Saturday morning just 20 minutes on the bus. Thames just 5 minutes walk with lots of Oldy worldy pubs and river walks. 3 football stadiums in the Borough so keen footie fans can be at Fulham or Chelsea football stadiums just 10 minutes walk down the road. All my guests just love this location.
