There is a bluegill pond for the kids to fish in (catch and release only) or they can feed the fish. There are play sets and swings for the kids to enjoy and plenty of room for them to run around and play. The kids will enjoy a treasure hunt for the buried treasure left by Chief Logan on the island on the property. Clay pigeon shooting is available upon advanced notice and is strictly supervised per an additional charge. The property also has a walk-in cooler and fish cleaning station. Pet Friendly with prior approval.
Every cabin has their own private hot tub and fire pit with all the wood you need to build an awesome fire to relax by and toast some marshmallows or enjoy a nice glass of wine. While you are preparing dinner go out to you own little garden to pick some fresh herbs or veggies that have been grown especially for you.
Enjoy a nice stroll around the property and look at all the beautiful flowers grown in the greenhouse on site, sit in the gazebo and watch the river drift by, walk on the beach and wet you toes in the Majestic Wabash River that runs by the cabins, or share the Cabana bed or one of the many hammocks placed around the grounds.

We had a great relaxing time in our cabin. Beautiful area on the Wabash River. We had a great time fishing, and thank you for our special treats, especially the chocolate anniversary cake the owner Ed made, the best chocolate cake I ever had. You really need to give me the chocolate frosting recipe 😄 We really enjoyed the hot tub. You are truly a great host made us feel at home. Very pet friendly also. Really enjoyed the views from the cabin very peaceful. Will definitely be back thanks again for everything.
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was great and we felt that Ed really went out of his way to make sure we had wonderful time. The reason I can only give three stars has nothing to do with the quality of the facility. Rather, it comes down to a financial issue. We stayed over Labor Day weekend. Apparently, the price is increased by $55 per night over holiday weekends. We were never informed of this, and it came as quite a shock when we received out bill. We had specifically booked two nights because we couldn't afford to stay three on our budget. Unfortunately, because of the increase in holiday price, we ended up having to essentially pay for three nights anyway. This issue really soured what was otherwise a great trip, and made what we had felt was a good deal feel like a rip-off.
We had a wonderful time, and would definitely return. Very relaxing weekend which was exactly what we needed. Thank you for the special treats you left us.
Our family had a wonderful time during our stay. The owner Ed made our stay very comfortable along with some great special treats he brought to us through out our stay. We would defiantly return!!
I read many of the reviews before staying here. Some likened this to staying at a nice resort...I would say that is not the case and NOT in a bad way. In fact, it is more personal and better than many resorts. It is more like staying with family. The cabin and property are quiet and relaxing, but with plenty of activities for the whole family. But the best part of the trip is the host. Ed truly cares about providing you with an outstanding experience and goes out of his way to ensure you have all the comforts of home. He is generous, friendly, and you can tell he loves being a host. From the fresh baked pie to the freshly picked vegetables to the roaring fire waiting in the fire pit, everything feels so thoughtful. He took the kids to feed the fish in the bluegill pond every day, and my daughter was lucky enough to be included with Girl Scout activities that were going on this past weekend. We look forward to coming back when the treehouse gets put in! Thanks for everything!
Had the best time relaxing here. beautiful property and the owner goes way beyond anything we ever experienced. I would recommend these cabins to anyone!
