Book it!
5-star stay from top to bottom. Great location, perfect host, awesome house - old farmhouse feel, cozy, but nicely updated and laid out well. Great room and hot tub overlook babbling creek, bank of rhododendron and patio with grill and fire pit. There are lots of nearby hiking/biking trails, shops in Black Mountain and local grocery and taverns. We loved it!

Wonderful
This home is nothing less than perfection. It was cozy, clean, comfortable and just a dream. We are already planning our next trip. We even left 3 jackets in the closet and the owner shipped them to us. So responsive and kind.

Perfection!
If you're thinking of staying somewhere else in this area don't. This place is absolutely amazing, and so peaceful. Ellen (the host) is the best host I've ever had. She was so helpful and accommodating. I stayed here with my girlfriend and sister and they both absolutely loved it. It borders a bunch of trails and some small towns that are great to visit. Both Hillmans brewery and Whaleys are great. Definitely visit Black Mountain, coolest little mountain town around. We will definitely be back.

Blue Ridge
This cottage was perfect the gurgling creek was so peaceful. Perfectly located for a day trip to chimney rock and then a cruise on the blue ridge parkway the next day.

Thank you for visiting my page. My husband and I have lived in this area for over two decades enjoying the trails, rivers, rocks, and restaurants. The picture above is of my daughter and me on the Nantahala River with NOC. I am as overcome with the beauty of this area today as I was when I first visited. I come from a large household with four sisters and love cooking for large groups of friends and family. Hosting groups for fun vacations or restful getaways feels like an extension of hosting family. I hope that I can help provide the opportunity for folks to fall in love with this area just as I have.

Why they chose this property

Jarrett Creek Cottage is a special property. We have lived next door for almost 10 years and were thrilled to have the opportunity to buy it from the previous owners- it has been in their family for over 100 years. It was recently totally gutted and rebuilt with the same cottage feel and upgraded amenities. It has 3 bedrooms, including two king beds and four twin beds, and a pull-out sleeper sofa.

What makes this property unique

Guests of Jarrett Creek will have access to the adjacent Camp Grier property: over 700 acres of private land with a lake, trails, horses, waterfalls and so much more. You will be so glad you chose Jarrett Creek Cottage and come again and again.
