Dozens more championship courses within 30 minutes drive ranging from very low-priced (Eagle Crest) to ocean views (Encinitas Ranch) extremely luxurious (Aviara); even unusually beautiful and challenging Mt. Woodson where you'll be surrounded by stunning rock formations at times and then travel on unique cart path over Dr. Seuss-like winding wooden bridge through dark forest.

PLENTY OF ROOM FOR TWO PEOPLE
Sparkling Kitchen has new countertop, sink and faucets in 2016, Keurig coffee station, stainless steel appliances with new dishwasher in 2017. Italian tile floor extends from entry way through kitchen and dining area. Extra seating for up to six.
Living Room with large new leather sofa has 50" flat screen TV (with 200 HD channels, DVR, your Amazon & Netflix accounts accessible), glowing gas fireplace for cool nights and lovely large windows for light and view, with modern easy-to-use cellular blinds.
Patio overlooking fairway with RB's best views over valley and granite-topped mountains beyond. (Bring your binocs!) Ocean blue mosaic-tile bistro tables and gas grill for delicious outdoor dining. Steep, wooded slope to golf course below, so please be careful if small children could be present.
Master bedroom has new king bed in 2018 with deep comfort-topper mattress. Guest bedroom has queen bed with comfortable memory foam topper. Easy bathroom access from each bedroom, large closets with organizers. Master bathroom got custom walk-in shower in 2017, beautifully tiled with corner seat and high-quality "hans grohe" fixtures, including both rainfall overhead and hand-held shower. Both bathrooms have comfort-height toilets and easy-to-reach grab bars for safety. Shampoo, soap, hair-dryer, and more supplied.
Master Bedroom has Casablanca ceiling fan and 32" HD flat-screen. Wake to views across trees & rooftops each morning; appreciate layers of stone-covered mountains in distance.
Garage is spacious, clean, holds two cars, with state-of-the-art washer/dryer. Utility sink for cleaning golf clubs and shoes. Plus, lots of things here to enjoy the beach, such as lightweight folding chairs, large tubs for ice, badminton, sand pails.
Pool and Spa, at end of cul-de-sac by mailboxes. Easy, peaceful walk, enjoy more views across the valley below. Community center less than one-mile away with fitness equipment, tennis courts, large lap pool, many activities. (Separate ID card required for $10 charge.)

We come each year to be sure things get in-depth cleaning and renovation. Hope you'll enjoy being here as much as we do!
Please note that we ask for departure on the 30th day of each month to allow plenty of time for turnover cleaning and maintenance before next guests are due. Only exception is December, when people will be allowed to depart on the 2nd, since owners are next people coming into the unit and can be more flexible. Thanks for your understanding. Why Owner chose San Diego
We chose this property because there is more sunshine and less fog when east of the coast just a bit. We love being higher than the surrounding areas and having a view of granite boulders on mountains. We love having many golf course choices and lots of other things to do with visiting friends and family. The more we're here, the more we appreciate being on our beautiful, quiet street above-it-all.

Great rental in Rancho Bernard (San Diego area)
Great two bedroom -two full bathrooms, two car garage and has all the amenities waiting for you when you arrive. Owners are very easy to work with and always willing to please the renters. 2018 will be our third year to rent this homey unit .
Wonderful to have you become part of our fantasy “fractional-ownership” group of monthly renters — escaping either heat or icy cold for the lovely paradise-climate of San Diego. As owners of a ‘56 T-Bird, we appreciate hearing your Corvette-club travel stories and imagining trips on the open road.
Our favorite part of the day was sitting on the patio with a glass of wine and enjoying the views of the mountains in the distance and the golfers right below the townhouse. The photos on the website are current and the unit had everything that we needed. The location was perfect for us and we will return next year.

A wonderful place to stay
The townhouse is just as shown in the pictures. The views of the golf course and the mountains to the north are just beautiful. The location in Rancho Bernardo is excellent. You are within 5 minutes of restaurants, shops and markets. The unit is fully equipped and stocked. The owners have been excellent to deal with. Jaclyn even checked with us to make sure everything was satisfactory. We hope to visit again.
Thank you for letting our prospective guests know that you enjoyed your stay at our property. We love to provide the opportunity for grandparents to have plenty of time to visit with kids and grandkids.
You had asked earlier why we had no reviews since 2015, which others might find helpful to know, also. As you saw, we made several substantial improvements to kitchen and master bathroom in 2016 and early 2017.
Most of our renters are returning guests (only had openings this year due to unfortunate illnesses) and they have previously reviewed. I wanted to wait to ask for review again until the planned improvements were finished.
Each year we try to do something to make the unit more comfortable and fresher for ourselves and guests, so those returning next year will be pleasantly surprised by our plans for January 2018. Until we cross paths again, all the best to you and your family --

Beautiful view, lovely location.
RanchoBernardo is a wonderful location , near ocean, down town San Diego, perfect weather.
Many tourist choices. Townhouse was comfortable , very well supplied with everything. Good contact with owners, who are interested in our enjoying a great vacation and gave great customer service. We love the wineries, the restaurants, the zoos, Balboa Pk, Coronado, biking, the beaches. Look forward to coming back!
We (the owners) realized that vintage kitchen & bathroom needed updating, which would have been very fair reason for less than stellar review, so we did it and results are great! When you have a chance to visit again, you'll appreciate in kitchen the beautiful new countertops, Kohler's Executive Chef sink with luxury faucet and freshly re-faced cabinets. New furniture in living room with larger TV. Best of all, in 2017, custom tile walk-in shower in master bathroom with corner seat and high-quality fixtures. We're fortunate to have many returning guests, and try using their suggestions to make things better each year. We know you'll enjoy being back!
What a wonderful place to stay
Our stay at the condo was our first and we were very pleased with all the amenities that the owners provided. We only needed to purchase our food. They thought of everything and we felt as though we were staying in our own home. We would happily stay there again.

Hummingbirds and bunnies!
Everything we had hoped for, and more! This home was true to the description, with so much more. Kitchen supplies...including olive oil and soy sauce, an abundance of paper products including baby wipes which are great for quick clean ups and so much more. The pool at the end of the cul de sac was almost always empty and the hot tub was great for loosening up after a round of golf!
Our favorite part was meals on the small patio, enjoying the many beautiful hummingbirds and an abundance of bunnies. We never had a meal inside the home!
Thanks, again, for being our guests and for mentioning the hummingbirds! We now have a painting in hallway of the little red-headed guy we often see outside. Also, nice to know you found lots of things you appreciated, as our hope is that guests won't have to worry about stocking up on supplies if only staying a short while in the area. Sure enjoyed hearing about your many travels and hope to have you back if again in our area.
The Rancho Bernardo area is easy to access from I-15, just 26 miles north of the San Diego International Airport and 19 miles east of the Torrey Pines Golf Course. Adjacent to the towns of Poway and Escondido, the area provides easy access to many golf courses, wineries and beautiful beaches at La Jolla and Del Mar.

If under 90 days, owner has always re-rented and returned most funds. However, advise guests to purchase travel insurance, if concerned. **1-3 months available; no cleaning fee for consecutive months. Mid-stay cleans may be purchased.
