Well-constructed with an eye to detail, this mountain cabin is all cedar inside and out, floor to ceiling cathedral windows and an unobstructed view to the mountains, river and park like setting across the river.
A gourmet cook’s delight, so there are more things in the kitchen than not! Make coffee in the morning and sit on the deck and watch the eagles soar, the badgers build their dam and hummingbirds feeding right by your chair. As there are no city lights at night, sit on the deck to watch the moon and the stars shine. And the 'big old' moon smiles right down on you!

We are situated 3 miles from the Hungry Horse Reservoir. Great place to swim, boat, waterski or fish.
The Hungry Horse reservoir has pristine water so clear you can see the bottom. You can also have a picnic on one of the small islands in the reservoir and look out at the Great Continental Divide. Bring your boat, free boat launches too. This place is a local secret so don't tell anyone!

We checked out early yesterday morning and it took all day getting back home. Our stay was great. The weather was rainy, but we still saw many sights. Your cabin was a bright spot on this trip. It was lovely, and the huge windows overlooking the river made us feel like we were experiencing the outdoors even when we were stuck inside
This cabin was a great home base for our Montana vacation. The location is close to everything including the entrance to Glacier NP. It's quiet, relaxing and has all the comforts of home. We spent time exploring Glacier NP, Hungry Horse Reservoir, Waterton NP, Flathead Lake and Whitefish. Don't forget to stop at the Huckleberry Patch for something huckleberry and souvenirs. I would definitely recommend this home to others seeking a comfortable, clean, relaxing base camp. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.
This cabin is situated on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. The location and the views were outstanding. We loved having the garage for parking and loading/unloading. We spent 4 days touring Glacier and 3 days in the surrounding areas. The cabin was in an excellent location for all of these trips. Only had one minor issue and the owners resolved it immediately. We would highly recommend this location for others.
Our stay in Hungry Horse was fantastic! This is a gorgeous home with an incredible view of the river. We enjoyed sunrise sitting out on the deck everyday, followed by great days in Glacier National Park. Perfect setting for a Montana getaway!
We had 3 couples with plenty of room for more! We loved the house and the location. The views were beautiful! It was so close to Glacier we were there in minutes. The house was very user friendly, with a well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, and room spread out. The owners were very helpful with information about the area and the house had lots of brochures for planning purposes.
Five women from Massachusetts came to MT for a special Girls Getaway. We stayed in Hungry Horse on the Flathead River. What a great time and a perfect location to enjoy Glacier NP. The house was perfect, just like the photos, large and spacious, comfortable with AC and a gas stove (we used both) and a kitchen well stocked for any cooking project. We made our own Huckleberry pie, AMAZING!! Thank you Ginny! The best part of the house is the deck overlooking the river. We sat there to watch the sunrise over the mts., we sat there at the end of the day to drink wine and watch the river and were visited by eagles and ospreys, and at night there were stars and more stars. We went to a horse show in Kalispell, hiked and rode horses in the park, rented a raft and floated down the river. Then up to Many Glacier Hotel for 3 nights for the most spectacular scenery in the park. We returned to Hungry Horse for our farewell dinner. We were very, very pleased with our accommodations and would recommend them to anyone who wants to visit this area and stay in comfort.
The cabin was in an ideal location! It only took 10 minutes to get to Glacier National Park where we spent most of our time. Then we would return to the quiet peace of the cabin and sit on the deck enjoying the view of the river. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for everyone to shower after a day of hiking. The hike to Grinnell Lake in Many Glacier was our favorite!
The cabin is close to a grocery store which was very convenient and we enjoyed the Huckleberry Pie and Ice Cream from the Huckleberry Patch. The owner provided all kinds of travel brochures and menus so we could find places to visit. We will definitely return!
The cabin sits in the midst of some of the finest winter sports in Montana! Skiing 20 minutes away, snowmobiling, snowshoes, sledding, etc.
