Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 7-8)
My husband and I have always loved the mountains. He grew up in the city (Chicago), but I grew up in rural California camping in Yosemite most weekends with my parents, wonderful memories... We wanted to own a special mountain retreat where we could build our family memories while our kids were still young (the above picture is 13 years after we built our cabin ;). We love our time in the woods and our cabin has become very special to our family. We truly enjoy sharing our cabin with our guests.
Dawn purchased this Cabin in 1999
Why Dawn chose Parks
We searched a lot of mountain areas and decided that the Flagstaff area had the most to offer - beautiful pine tree covered mountains, close access to skiing, the Grand Canyon and Sedona, a great historic town with tons of restaurants and shopping, and temperatures 20-25 degrees cooler than Phoenix. The town of Flagstaff has a wonderful mix of small-town quaintness and great energy from the young university population. There are fantastic family-owned restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques, as well as all the convenient chain stores we're used to. We knew we wanted acreage with lots of trees (we have enough of 'subdivision life' in Phoenix). We found some beautiful land just 20 mins outside Flagstaff and built our cabin. It was a dream come true for us. We hope your family enjoys this peaceful getaway as much as we have!

The house was located in a beautiful location. Had a wonderful time relaxing and having fun with the family.
Midway between Williams and Flagstaff Arizona was a great base for visiting the Grand Canyon in Monument Valley. Returning to the cabin after a busy day and sitting on the deck was great. Would definitely recommend this nice property.
Thanks for the opportunity to stay at your lovely home.
Dutch in the forest
Such a Nice experience we had! The house was perfect and it’s location was superb! Thx for the Nice stay!
The entire process was smooth and house/property was even better than expected. My family of 5 loved it. My boys 22,21 and 17 especially enjoyed evening fire pit times and s’mores. We only stayed two nights since we were concluding our vacation road trip with a day at the Grand Canyon. Wish we had more time to just spend a couple of days out in the pines since the house was so peaceful.
We loved our stay. Everything was as advertised, cabin was clean and cozy with plenty of space.
Dawn made everything very easy and responded immediately when contacted with questions. We loved having lots of outdoor spaces for the kids to run and play, and indoor spaces enough for us to gather for a game or find our own niche to relax. We would love to return one day!
Nice walking trails!
Walking trails are literally right out back! Lots of turns and ways to take. Some a short drive away if you wish. Beautiful home and property!
Located just west of Flagstaff. From Flagstaff take I-40 west 16 miles to the Parks exit, turn right, then left onto Route 66 for about a mile. Turn right on Spring Valley Rd and go 6 miles. At the 6 mile marker is our driveway. We are on the right up the hill.
Other Activities: Shopping, Kayaking, Boating, Cross-Country Skiing, Snowmobiling, Wildlife Viewing, Rock Climbing, Basketball Court.
