Welcome to MAUI, and thank you for considering our lovely condo at Hale Kamaole for your vacation stay. Hale Kamaole is known for it's spacious tropical grounds, low density, and totally relaxing atmosphere. Located on a spacious 7-acre property it is designed in a 'U'-shape, facing the ocean,with expansive lawns, beautiful tropical flora, and palm trees.

You are just steps away from the soft sand and blue Pacific waters of the Kamaole Beaches. Activities such as snorkeling, swimming, whale watching, boogie boarding, body surfing will keep you busy, or simply relax with a good book and soak up the sun! (Lifeguards are on duty daily at the 3 Kamaole beaches across the raod. In addition, just a quick 5-10 minute drive north will take you to many of Kihei’s best shops and restaurants, and going south, a 5-10 minute jaunt will take you to Wailea resort shopping, fine dining, world-reknown golf courses and more beautiful beaches!

1. EFFECTIVE FEB 24, 2015: Because we want our guests to be comfortable, we prefer to allow only Two adults with no more than one child. (up to age 17) or 1 pre-teen up to age 13 and 1 younger child

2. At least One Adult Guest MUST BE AGE 25 in order to rent at our property complex. This property rule is in our AOAO rules and Bylaws.

3. All US Guests require $59. Non Refundable damage Ins Fee which is Payable Online. OR, A Fully Refundable Damage Deposit of $1500.

4. All bookings of less than 7 nights Require a $100. US Departure Cleaning Fee.

5.All Peak Season stays between DEC 15-APRIL 30 require a minimum stay of 14-Nights, UNLESS 14 nts are not available on the calendar.

6.Check IN Time is 3:00pm. Check OUT Time is 11:00am, Unless Special arrangements have been made with owner ( For Addtl 4 hrs $35. Up to 8 hrs $60.)

7.Add 13.42 % tax to all rates shown

Cancellations:

We recommend travel insurance to help manage the unexpected. We hope it doesn't happen, but if it does... After balance due date: No refunds~~ You are liable for full payment. If the unit can be re-rented, you will receive a pro-rated refund. We do try our best to work with guests who need to cancel within that last 30-60 day period, although we have had very few that do...

Cancellation policy:

100% refund if cancelled at least 90 days before arrival date for Xmas/New Years HoLidays(<IE: Betwn Dec 15-Jan 5, or High Season, or any reservation of 3 weeks or longer.

100% refund for Low season if cancelled 60 days prior to stay.

NO CANCELLATIONS for any bookings made within 45 days prior to checkin.

About Mr and Mrs Tway, Owners

We had vacationed in Maui almost every year for close to 15 years. Well, Our son and family loved it so much there they took off and moved to Maui after their first vacation there in 2001, and snatched up our two little toddler grandkids! :( But, what a blessing in disguise. So- We bought this little piece of paradise 2 yrs later at this great family complex. We love it due to It's proximity to some best beaches on MAUI, and 10 minute drives to some world reknown golf courses, with a host of water activities, fine and casual dining , and shopping.

This location can't be BEAT! We fell in love with Hale Kamaole for many reasons, but mainly because it's just steps to the beach, close to shops and dining, and offers beautiful views throughout the property.And, because there are so many sites to see, and so many activities, many within a 5-15 minute walk,or no more than a than a 30 min. drive.

We have tried to make our condo meet - and hopefully exceed - all your vacation needs. From upscale linens, towels, and bedding, to a well-equipped and beautifully remodeled kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and a 'goodie closet' full of beach gear, we feel we’ve created a relaxing and well-appointed place for your island activities, adventures, AND comfort.

We hope you’ll treasure your memories here and consider our place as your little piece of paradise too.

Walking distance to beach, parks, shops, restaurants, and activities. Just a short 5-10 minute drive to several championship golf courses in the area! Watch whales frolicking(in season) from our upper pool.... which is just 20 steps away from our patio sliding door :)

Kihei is just a 15 minute drive to the Maui Ocean Center, 40 minute drive to the west side of the island, (Lahaina, Ka'a'napali, etc), and 1/2 hour from Kahului airport.

Thank you to the owner Merrilyn for our stay in Kihei, the condo was beautiful and fully equipped. With an ocean view and a one minute walk to the beach. Bbq and pool just 30 feet away. My wife was very happy and that's was all I needed. We will definitely come back next time in Maui!!!

I had the pleasure of staying at your lovely and comfortable condo. I loved that it was right across the street from the beach. I love to walk and it is a perfect start to a long a beautiful walk to Wailea and beyond.

Your condo is tastefully decorated and we enjoyed checking out all the interesting artworks.

The pool and BBQ are just right off the lanai, so convenient. So enjoyable. We had all the amenities you could want.

I had such a great time at Five Palms Restaurant and Cafe O Lei, two of my favorites.

Thank you so much for sharing

your home. I would love stay here again.

An excellent property within an ideally sized condo complex

Excellently presented condo with lovely decor and quality chattels. Clean and well maintained. Within the "U" shaped Hale Kamaole complex this unit is perfectly positioned for ease of access to the upper pool and BBQ area.

Owners were very responsive and quickly followed up on the one or two queries we had.

Good swimming beaches right over the road and we again saw turtles there in waist deep water.

Easy walks to 5 Palms restaurant (great happy hours) and Freds or Moose McGillicuddys (2 good bars) and Cafe O Lei (great sushi)

We have stayed at HK many times over the past 30 years and this is an excellent condo that we would readily recommend to anyone.

A piece of paradise

We so enjoy our stay at Hale Kamaole and continue to return each year because of the accessibility to the water, the community atmosphere at the complex and the condo we have the privilege of staying in. This condo is in a perfect location in the complex. It is on the upper tier on the south side away from traffic noise. It is steps away from the pool and the BBQ-which we use frequently. The condo is stocked with everything you need for the beach-towels, chairs, sand toys, noodles, snorkel gear, mats, etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pan, utensils, knives, coffee maker and a new fridge! The new paint in the living area really brightens things up! The tennis courts are well used by my boyfriend while we are there. In short, you can't go wrong with this condo!

Home Away From Home

This was our first trip to Maui, so with little knowledge of the island or places to stay, we felt we were going in blind. I scoured VRBO

sites for the perfect vacation condo for days. Merrilyn and George's seemed to fit the bill for what we were looking for - comfort and convenience - and it did not disappoint. It had everything anyone could possibly need for a wonderful stay from the king-size bed that was ultimately comfortable, the beautiful bath towels to the ground floor location that made for very easy access to the on-site pool and barbecue pit. Communication with the owners was first rate, from the start of us planning our trip to a follow up. They truly were concerned that our stay in their condo would provide the best experience that we could possibly have while in Maui.

When we bought into that property it was not only the location, but also the ground floor proximity to pool/bbq area that we too, found to be a great asset: walk 15 feet to refresh your drink, or run in for more BBQ sauce! Our Stay

Disappointed with overall condition of unit both inside and out. We found the unit to be in need of a good cleaning with sleeping pillows requiring replacing due to foul odour and packed out. Kitchen cookware also requires replacing as Teflon finish coming off and a health hazard. Sliding door to lanai very difficult to open and close due to rollers worn out. Lanai was filthy dirty with black mould growing on path.

Owner's Response: We sincerely apologize that you felt our unit did not met your expectations, we have always strived to keep our unit updated, fresh, and clean. My housekeeper and I have discussed your issues, and have taken note--- We have actually now,repainted,new drapes, sofa professionally cleaned again, new pillows purchased every 2 months, some new cookware, lanai door maintained ,and patio furniture may have been dusty due to construction area ARound the bbq.Our kitchen cabinets are in great shape shape as well our lovely XTRA wide granite counters so we are not updating that area at this time. Other misc updates have been completed as needed. I am emailing you an offer of a partial refund for your troubles that I hope you will accept~ We thank you for staying at our Hale Kamaole condo and hope you might consider us again in the future. We have so many many return guests who absolutely love our Maui haven, and enjoy it year after year. with aloha, Mr & Mrs Tway

Great Location

Can't beat the location. Pool and BBQ grills are just out the back door. Beach is across the street and easy to get to. Pleanty of shops and restaurants close by. We did a lot of sightseeing and found this location a nice central place to get to all the Maui sights. Beach chairs and snorkle gear are all provided. This has all you need for a fun and relaxing time. The property is well maintained and clean. Hope to visit again soon.
