When our friends took us to this area we fell in love and we had to find a way to spend more time hiking in Zion National Park. Building this house was a dream for us. We spend as much time as we can here and when we're not here we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. This is us at the top of Observation Point. A definite must on your list of hikes to do.
The Owner purchased this house in 2007
This home was exactly what we expected--Beautifully kept and an amazing location! A great family vacation home, providing comfortable areas to socialize, dine, and hang out together. Would definitely stay here again. Carol was very responsive and did everything necessary to make sure we had everything we needed.
My husband and I, along with two other couples stayed at this beautiful vacation home two weekends ago for a relaxing mini-vacation in Zion, and we wish we'd have stayed longer. Nice, quiet setting within a gated community. We were greeted by a small family of deer walking past the spacious deck in the back wooded area. This was a large, beautifully decorated vacation home with a well-stocked kitchen and a pristine hot tub that fit all 6 adults comfortably. The master bedroom and bath were wonderful, with a separate jetted tub and a very large corner shower. Although we didn't realize this was on the non-Springdale side of the park originally (even though this was obvious in the listing), this worked out well, as it's less crowded and quite peaceful. Carol was quick to respond and great to work with - making us feel quite at home. We'll definitely be back!
We took a father's day weekend trip with two families here. Plenty of room for everyone and then some. The home was fully stocked, with plenty of kitchen supplies. Comfy furnishings and lots of games for the kids to play. The location of this house is great - just about two miles to the east entrance of Zion (which is way less crowded). We thought about staying in the park, but after visiting decided that we would NEVER stay in the park - way too crowded. The community of Zion Ridge, where the home is located, is very private and quiet, which is just what we needed after super crowded days at the park. We took walks every evening through the community and probably saw 10 people our whole trip.
My only complaints:
1) No shade. It gets pretty warm in the house, even with the A/C on because there are no window coverings (don't worry about privacy - no one can see in here) and the sun beats down in the afternoon. We went in June, so it was quite hot. There is also zero shade on the patio. Would have been nice to have at least an umbrella or something so we could enjoy the patio, but we ended up staying inside because the sun was just too hot.
2) The jacuzzi had WAY too much chlorine...we couldn't even sit in it without our eyes burning for more than 5 minutes.
Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
We were a group of 12 friends and rented this house for 2 nights. The location is awesome. Close to the east gate of Zion national park. The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. We had a lot of fun. The owner is very responsive and we had great communication. We certainly recommend this house and hope to be back ourselves as well :)
Our group (6 kids and 6 adults) enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! Awesome location if you want to explore Zion. Carol (owner) is very nice and very responsive! Highly recommend this place and we'll definitely be back!
From my very first contact with the owner until I had my security deposit refunded, the word that best describes my experience is excellent! The owner was very timely with any of my correspondences & offered good advice. The house itself, Wyndemere, WOW!!! The location is excellent, the amenities were excellent, and the owners thought of everything when furnishing & stocking the house! Our group was there to hike Zion & Bryce & I do not believe there can be a better place to use as a base! My group of 5 men & myself had all of our expectations met & beyond! All of the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was so easy to work from with every utensil imagineable, & the deck with it's hot tub & grill were fantastic.
Any of us would absolutely love to return to the dream home, Wyndemere!
