Thanks again for another vacation at your beautiful condo. Most of all, thank you for adjusting your schedule in order that our daughter and her family could also enjoy a vacation with us.
We swam, hiked, kayaked, rented a pontoon boat and went tubing, golfed, and went sight seeing.
But most of all, we enjoyed the spectacular views your condo provides!
The condo was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. The directions were clear, and we had no problems finding it. The location at The Homestead is great for exploring Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and the Leelanau Peninsula. The condo was VERY clean. The view of Lake Michigan and South Manitou Island was lovely. We like to cook and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The condo maintenance workers were on top of the snow removal. We would recommend bringing slippers if you rent in the winter. We keep our house at 66 degrees in the winter, so we don't expect our accommodations to be really warm, but we did find that the floors were cold despite being carpeted and that made us feel a bit cold. It did not appear that the condo below was occupied and, therefore, heated. If it had been, that might have made a difference. We would definitely rent this condo again.
I greatly needed a get-away and I surely found it. The condo was easy to find, yet tucked away and quiet, and very clean. The rooms were spacious and I never got used to the views, they took my breath away every time I looked out the windows. This condo would also be great for a family vacation, friends get-away, or anniversary trip.
I stayed with a group of friends for our second year in this condo. One of them remarked "Isn't it funny, how this kinda feels like home?" They were 100% right! Everything we could ask for was provided, and then some. There are gorgeous views overlooking Lake Michigan, firewood is provided for cozy evenings, the beds are comfy, and the owners are fantastic. We will continue coming back every year to this lovely spot!
Beautiful Property with amazing views of Lake Michigan. We enjoyed watching ships navigate the Manitou waterways. The weather was not always co-operative this late in the season, but even the stormy days were cozy with a crackling fire, the wonderful jacuzzi, and everything at our fingertips to make whatever we were craving for food. And always that wonderful view! Thank You, Ramune, for sharing this little slice of paradise with us. We will be back!
This property is maintained beautifully with thoughtful items in place such as beach chairs, umbrellas and detailed instruction for all appliances, etc. The elevated view of Lake Michigan is breathtaking. We will be returning!
WHAT A WONDERFUL, WELL APPOINTED CONDO. EVERYTHING WAS FIRST CLASS. EVEN LITTLE THINGS LIKE NICE SHEETS AND PILLOWS DOWN TO A WELL APPOINTED KITCHEN AND DELUXE TOILET PAPER! WE RENT CONDOS OFTEN AND HAVE NEVER SEEN A NICER ONE!
KUDOS TO YOU FOR ALL THE FIRST CLASS TOUCHES ALL OVER THE UNIT. WE FELT LIKE WE HAD FINALLY RENTED A LUXURY CONDO WITH THE BEST VEIWS OF LAKE MICHIGAN. WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED THAT WE HAD TO CLIMB A LOT FEWER STEPS THAN MOST OF THE CONDOS IN THAT BUILDING.
WE LOVED THE AIR CONDITIONING UNITS WHICH WERE WELL PLACED TO COOL THE ENTIRE LIVING SPACE. WE EXPECTED NASTY SMELLING AND TASTING WELL WATER AND YOUR WATER TASTED JUST FINE......EXACTLY LIKE CITY WATER. HOPE TO MAKE THIS AN ANNUAL TRADITION.
WOW....WHAT A WONDERFUL WEEK WE HAD! THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!
