This property was purchased shortly after Pat cycled the DALMAC, and was introduced to the beauty of M 119 and Emmet County. It has brought many years of enjoyment to her friends and family.

Our family loved everything about Sunset View Cottage! Every day we had deer walk through the yard and the views of the lake were wonderful. We had three great beach days at the Church beach. Everything we needed was provided and what we didn't have we were able to get at the Good Hart Store. This was a great place for grandparents to toddlers!
The view here is incredible from the drive in to the bluff overlook. Pristine beach. The cabin was larger than expected and very comfortable, well kept. The owners were very communicative and provided a wealth of useful information about the amentities and the area. Would definitely stay here again!
Our family is absolutely in love with this property! The views are amazing and the owner has thought of EVERYTHING. So much attention to detail. Everything was clean and there was so much space that if you needed some space from the group, it was easily achieved. The basement with the ping pong table, huge TV and games galore was such a bonus! We loved the short drive to Church Beach and Legs Inn is a must for anyone staying here! We look forward to returning Summer 2016!
What a wonderful slice of peace and relaxation in Good Hart, Michigan. You get to have your cake and eat it too with the location being in a non-touristy beautiful area on Lake Michigan and yet close to a number of destinations. We spent the bulk of our time playing/taking in the panoramic view of Lake Michigan in the backyard, visiting the Middle Village beach (about 1.5 miles away) and spending quality family time together. The spacious cottage is appointed with all the modern amenities you want, has a well stocked kitchen and was exceptionally clean. The owners were very communicative during the booking process and days leading up to our arrival. We did not need to call on them during our stay because everything was as good or better than described and everything worked without fail! We welcome the opportunity to return to this rental!!
We have stayed at this cottage many times and have loved it! Owners are great people, cottage is clean and comfortable. View is spectacular!! We usually see deer walking right out the big picture window. Great location...we highly recommend this cottage.
I have stayed at the Good Hart cottage many times over the years and it really is a home away from home. The convenience of the Good Hart store (within walking distance) and the beautiful sunsets on the Bluff over Lake Michigan will stay with me forever. I can't imagine finding a better place to stay in Northern Michigan to get away and relax from the real world.
The cottage is located on 5+ acres with bluff views of Lake Michigan. Lake Michigan access is available through an easement at the bottom of the bluff and via township parks located at the bottom of the bluff with in 1 mile to the north and south on Lamkin Drive. The quaint town of Good Hart, and its unique and wonderful stores, is located within walking distance.
