This adorable getaway is perfect for anyone who wants to be close to everything! It is located one mile from Bellingham's downtown and famous Farmer's Market; it is 1/3 mile from a gym, bike/hike trails, a bus line, restaurants, Whole Foods grocery, Woods Coffee shop, and stores; and it is a 5 to 10 minute drive to historic Fairhaven, Western Washington University, and waterfront parks. Mallard's Ice Cream Store, a 5 minute drive downtown, was rated by USA Today as the best ice cream store in Washington! Our place is perfect for WWU parents who want to be comfortable in Bellingham and cook a meal and have private time with their WWU student.
Freeway access from I5 easy. If you want to explore Bellingham, visit your WWU student, or enjoy the area's many outdoor or cultural activities; our lovely two bedroom place may be for you. It may also be ideal for an executive stay if you have business at the university or the medical centers.
MASTER BEDROOM HIGHLIGHTS
The master bedroom features a queen size bed with dual side tables and lamps, chester drawers, mirror, and closet. All beds (master and second BR) are outfitted with fine linens and Pottery Barn bedcovers. The morning sun enhances this room when the shades are up.
GUEST BEDROOM HIGHLIGHTS
The guest room features a new queen bed with lamp and shelf storage in the closet. This room includes a comfortable corner desk with Wifi reception. A full window offers nice sun with shades up.
The Fully Furnished Kitchen is equipped with full sized refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, garbage disposal, and toaster. It has a full service of attractive dishes, glasses, and stemware. For cooking, you will find a new set of Cuisinart pots and pans, cooking utensils, and bowls. Our table sits under an attractive ceiling fan and in a kitchen nook with two windows to give good light. Our guests have commented how much they like our kitchen.
LIVING ROOM HIGHLIGHTS
The living room has been furnished with Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel leather, wood, and fabric furniture. We have beautiful artwork framed professionally. Our flat screen TV with DVD player and well lit room will be very comfortable for your relaxation. The slider door goes out to the lovely yard.
The yard is fenced and expertly landscaped. There is a bench and chairs for your enjoyment of the patio.

In addition to being the home of a major university and medical center, Bellingham hosts numerous outdoor, educational, and cultural activities. It is located one hour from Mt. Baker ski slope, one hour from Vancouver, B.C. (home of the next Olympics), and one and one-half hour from Seattle.
The Alaska State Ferry leaves the continental US from Bellingham's port, while the airport is 15 minutes away. Anyone will be very entertained in this city!!

We raised our children in the NW and sent one child to WWU. Since then both daughters and their families have moved to Bellingham. So guess what?, we recently moved to Bellingham just to watch the grandkids grow up and enjoy the beauty of the area. In Bellingham, we are involved in kayaking, hiking, book clubs, ukulele, and volunteering. We love it!

We chose this location because it is CLOSE to everything, including our two daughters! We can walk one mile to downtown and Farmer's Market. We can get on a bike trail, walk to a gym, go to stores and restaurants, and visit the Visitor's Center in 1/2 mile. In other words, it is a perfect location!
Past guests seem to love our property. They find it so convenient and like a home away from home. They love our fenced-in yard, off-street and well-lit parking, beautiful interior design, and lovely kitchen. And they can drive in a few minutes to anywhere they want!

We loved staying at your place!! Thank you for having it be so clean and so well decorated. Our son also enjoyed playing in your fenced back yard and walking across the street (with us) to the elementary school play grounds. We enjoyed the proximity to the trail system and the Farmer's Market. It was perfect. We plan to return.
We have never used VRBO or have been to Washington so we didn't know what to expect. We were overjoyed with our choice to stay here. The condo was very clean, very comfortable (there were 4 of us adults staying here), and it such a great location. We were no more than 10 minutes to major area attractions. I am so happy we choose to stay here over a hotel. The owners were very easy to deal with and prompt with their responses and the property manager Zoe was very friendly too. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
My family was visiting Bellingham for the first time and we found this condo to be perfectly located. If we did not find ourselves within walking distance of our destination, we were only a short drive away. For longer outings, the freeway was just around the corner with easy access. The condo was very comfortable, extremely clean and well decorated! There was enough room that our family of four enjoyed having movie nights in the evenings. The beds were extremely comfortable, which is always a big deal for us ... and we enjoyed having nice linens. Sally was wonderful to talk to and was very helpful. She was always quick to answer any questions we had both before and during our visit. Thank you for everything!!
This was our second time staying at this most convenient, clean, and lovely condo. We come here to see our college student and just to enjoy Bellingham's wonderful vibe. If we can book this place, it is always our first choice. It is close to everything (to include grocery stores, coffee shops, and downtown. AND the place is immaculately clean and very well decorated. Our little niece can enjoy the fenced backyard when she joins us. We will be back. Thank-you!!
We were in Bellingham for the first time and found this place to settle into with our 2 year old son. Sally and the property manager were very responsive for the booking and prior to arrival with all our questions. The location is very close to downtown and easily accessible to everything the area has to offer. She provided a portable crib which was fantastic. There are no sea views here but the price reflects it! One word of caution though, it is very close to the highway, and my husband had difficulty sleeping the first night due to the trucks rolling by - the noise machine that was provided did help, but think about that if you are a sensitive sleeper.
The apartment has been prepared with great care. Everything you could want is there and in excellent condition. It is as if a tidy home rather than a rental property. Walking distance to a variety of shops including a "Whole Foods" store that has good take-away self service hot and cold food. Easy drive to downtown and onto I5.
We stayed here with our two children, 20 months and 4 weeks old! We loved that we had a small yard and open living space for the kids. It is close to the freeway, but it never bothered us - additionally there are sound machines in the bedrooms to help (huge for the kids).
Would have liked more cable options. The sheets and towels left a little to be desired BUT that is small frys. The stay was great, the kitchen was fantastic and it's super close to whole foods & a really great yogurt shop :)
It was perfect for the wedding weekend we were attending, we would stay here again.
