Fantastic Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We realized tonight we never wrote a review from our stay in April 2016. Obviously we're still talking about the Last Best Cabin and it is January 2017. The cabin is perfectly situated for easy access to Yellowstone, Chico Hot Springs, and Livingston. The views are so amazing you have to pinch yourself because you'll think it's a really great dream you don't want to wake up from. Speaking of waking up... You'll never feel more alive than when you see a Grizzly bear, wolves and coyotes in Yellowstone. Or when you wake up at 4:00 am (because you just do sometimes) and see stars so big and bright from the master bedroom you think they might fall down on you. Or when you're standing at the sink in the kitchen of the cabin and you look up to see a family of antelope staring at you curiously through the window. The owner of the cabin is wonderful (she provides everything you could need including bear spray for hiking) and we're just so grateful she shares the place with the rest of the world. It's magical. There's a little store that has everything you need including a smile. Thank you Ginny. Thank you Montana. Perhaps it's time to stop talking about our trip in 2016 and book the cabin for 2017???

Winter Wonderland

  • 5 of 5

The Last Best Cabin was our home over the Christmas holiday. We all loved the cabin and how well stocked it was. Very comfortable for a family of 4 and a dog. The winter is a special time in the Paradise Valley. We soaked and feasted at Chico Hot Springs, went to the movies in Livingston and spent a magical day in Yellowstone. Lots of bison and elk. Even saw 3 wolves through a spotting scope that someone was willing to let us peek through.Strongly recommend this cabin. Be sure to have 4 wheel drive and a tolerance for wind!

We really enjoyed our Yellowstone experience - the log cabin is really the Best in Paradise Valley... it was so relaxing and a great place to use as a base camp for our holiday.....we loved it. It was very a special way to celebrate my 70th birthday and our 45th wedding anniversary...staying in a log cabin made it even more special. Thank you , we appreciated it very much.... bill & phyllis

Awesome stay, off the main road with great view!

  • 5 of 5

My Dad, brother and I stayed here for a fishing trip we planned for a birthday celebration. It was the perfect size for us! The cabin had all we needed and more. We found ourselves taking in the view of the mountains, all thru the moonlight hours. Owner was great and clear with all communication. Easy drives to Yellowstone and Livingston. Emigrant was a neat little town. Wildflour was indeed a great breakfast/coffee stop. Thank you so much for sharing this awesome place! So cozy and felt just like a home of ours.
