Park City Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, Studio, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

This is a cozy studio located at The Lodge at the Mountain Village which is right at the base of Park City Mountain Resort. This unit sleeps 4 with a queen murphy bed and a pull out sofa bed. The Lodge at Mountain village offers a heated indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs, a fitness center and underground parking. Also at the base of the mountain you can enjoy ice skating shopping, restaurants, and fun mountain activities of the Resort Center.

This condo is located between Pay Day & First Time chair lifts. Simply walk down the hall, take the elevator down and you are just steps from the ski slope. Ski school and the lift ticket window are also just steps away. The slopes and lifts are less than five minutes from the condo.

As far as transportation goes, the under ground parking is very convenient if you have your own vehicle. If you choose not to rent a vehicle Park City's public transportation is free! There is a main bus stop right at the base. Either way you go Main Street, restaurants and grocery stores are just a few minutes away.

This unit is perfect for a small family or a couple.

Lastly, if you have little ones, there are lots of plan B options right at the base of the mountain. Just in case (heaven forbid) your little angel decides that skiing was the worst idea ever, and you need some hot cocoa or some ice skating! For that matter, there is also a bar should you need a beer...or two!

About Ken and Cassie Beiler

Our family has been vacationing in Park City for years. We love the ski in/out location and pools & hot tubs!

Ken and Cassie Beiler purchased this condo in 2004

Why Ken and Cassie Beiler chose Park City area

Ski in/out keeps the fun in our family Park City vacations.

What makes this condo unique

Skiing Utah powder is the best and we think that Park City is the best place to vacation. Our family loves to ski all day and then relax in the hot tub & pool. Later, we gather around the fireplace in our condo and play games and enjoy a family dinner. If we still have energy - we enjoy a movie right at our condo!

Very convenient

  • 3 of 5

We had a great visit to Park City. You can not beat the convenience of the location and our hosts were very helpful and accommodating My daughter and I stayed to ski on the day we were leaving and since the place was not rented Ken let us leave our luggage and come back to the condo to change. It was great.

The unit is fully equipped and clean but it does feel somewhat tired. It is not a sleek modern rental.

Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! It was just as described: small but all we needed! Proximity to ski slopes was an excellent treat, so wonderful to just walk out to the slopes and be ready to go, wonderful when coming in off the slopes. The bus stop was just down the steps or elevator down, a chocolate and ice cream store just out the door and an excellent Mexican restaurant just across the village corridor, plus several other good grills close by, Easy to take a trip downtown, just hop on the bus. Owners were very accommodating and met all our needs. We definitely want to stay here again!

Overall Good Value

  • 4 of 5

We used VBRO to rent a ski-in/ski-out Studio unit in Park City in January 2016. The location of the Studio unit was great and the unit has good access to the Payday lift and the Park City bus system. The Studio was small but very functional. At first we were uncomfortable with the idea of using a Murphy bed but it proved to be very comfortable. The unit does needs a little TLC though (the stopper was missing from the bathroom sink). We enjoyed skiing at Park City and we were happy with the value of the Studio unit. We did have one major complaint and that was that check-in was difficult. We gave the front desk clerks all the reservation/confirmation numbers we had but since we rented through VBRO the numbers meant nothing to them. The clerks were more than helpful and they were able to contact the owner for the unit number. We were given our parking pass and building access keys but when we arrived at the Studio unit we realized we were not given the code for the unit’s pushbutton key lock, again we had to call the owner. Except for the difficulty we had with check-in we were happy with the Studio unit and look forward to returning next year.

Owner's Response: Stephen, Thank you for your feedback. I believe you may have not received the access instructions, which clearly have the unit number and key code written on them. These instructions should be sent automatically through VRBO, so I have no way to verify if they were sent or not. I am sure that was frustrating after a long flight! I am glad you had a great trip despite this rough checkin experience. Sincerely, Ken

Convenient and cozy!

  • 4 of 5

Ken was a great host and a great communicator! Love the location - close to Main Street, restaurants/convenience store in the same complex, and free shuttle service. Condo is thoughtfully well stocked with everything you might need during your stay (humidifier, ziplock bags, welcome basket).

My only issue with the condo - and this might not apply to everyone - was that the walls felt a bit thin. I'm a light sleeper and I kept waking up the neighbors' footsteps above me and the noise next to me.

Overall, this is a great place to stay for the price.

Nice Location

  • 4 of 5

The condo location is great. It is about 150 yard walk from the room to the base of the Payday lift. So, while some would not define this as ski in/ski out, it is close enough. The condo was exactly as described in the listing and the owner was great to work with.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and two teenage daughters for a ski trip. The condo does sleep 4, but is a bit small for 4 people. We were fine and the owner did warn us before we booked the condo that it was small. So, if you plan to use the sleeper sofa, be aware that there is not a lot of extra room for your "stuff". The Murphy Bed is comfortable. The sleeper sofa is a not great, but my daughters were OK with it.

Everything else in the condo is basic and functional.

The arrival instructions are important. We received good instructions from the owner via the Home Away app, but had a little trouble accessing the instructions when we arrived. It would have been better if we had them printed out as well. The check in, parking, and finding the room can be a little confusing, but if you have the instructions from the owner, you should be fine.

Perfect On/Off Sk Location At A Great Price!!

  • 5 of 5

I brought my son for his first snowboarding experience outside of Michigan. It made for a perfect vacation! The owners were great to work with and their response time on answering questions was amazing. And the gift basket upon arrival was a very nice touch.

Initially, I was nervous about not having a vehicle, but, you're literally just a short walk to everything - no vehicle needed - It's all right there.

The Payday or Crescent chair lifts, the shops and restaurants on the plaza, heated pool and hot tub (which was used every night), and even the free transit service to Park City.

The whole concept of skiing on/off by being right there on the slope was fantastic and actually made it more relaxing. We weren't on any sort of schedule because of needing to drive to the slopes. We snowboarded as long or as little as we felt because we knew we could go right back out there whenever we wanted.

All the other reviews are spot on!

About the only additional information I can add, which has nothing to do with the room or resort, but may help other in their decisions is the taxiing to/from the airport. We used the first taxi the airport called for us; we didn't have any discussion outside of just needing a taxi. Unfortunately, the first taxi that came was a more deluxe luxury SUV. So, it was $150 to the resort. During the vacation I jotted down a phone number of a more traditional taxi service and the way back to the airport was $100. You can get it for even less, around the $85 range, but more waiting and ride sharing/shuttling may be involved.

Overall it was a fantastic experience and the memories of snowboarding with my son are priceless!

This condo is located right at PC Mountain Resort. You are steps away from a hot tub, the ski lift, restaurants, ski rentals places, ice rink, buses, etc. It is a great location because it has a pool, sauna, work out room, locker rooms. You are within walking distance to Main Street and grocery stores. A great pizza place just down the steps from the condo. There is so much to do in the complex that you really do not have to leave to go anywhere else.
