Hi my name is Rusty Rust. I am a single dad of two sons. I am a commercial and investment real estate agent. I am a pro bass fisherman and I have along with my co-host Dan our own fishing show on TV call Fishin Affliction. I love to fish and spend a great deal of time on the water. I do have a pontoon boat available for rental during your stay.
Rusty purchased this House in 2005
Why Rusty chose Mount Juliet
Has large 2 story decks, hot tub, pool table, lake front with dock, 7 beds in house. 1 king, 5 queens , a twin and a sleeper sofa.
What makes this House unique
I just love this house and having its own dock on the lake. I can take my boat out fishing or just fish off the dock. I can ride my jet skis. It is my home away from home. There is a small fishing boat and pontoon boat available for rent

Clean and spacious. Great gathering place for our family and not far from downtown Nashville fun!
All essentials available
Thanks for staying, it was a pleasure to have you!
Mt. Juliet, TN
House needs some TLC. Curtain rod fell off the window in living room, so now it matches the other window which had no rod! Many things need tightened, dishwasher not secure, toilet seats loose, and some electrical outlets without plate covers. On the up side, there are plenty of towels, lots of outdoor seating, a beautiful lake and view, and beds are comfortable. Our family had a great time, even though we never went down to the lake due to rain all week.
Thanks for staying, during touch up paint some electrical covers were left missing, we have addressed all your concerns.
Fantastic Lake house!!
We enjoyed a fantastic holiday weekend at Rusty’s lake home. He was great to deal with and the house has everything you could want or need for a group gathering. You are close to downtown Nashville but far enough away to enjoy the serenity of the lake.
Plenty of space!
Pros: This is a nice big space where everyone can have a bit of their own space but still hang out together. We had a group of 6 adults and 4 kiddos and there was a room for everyone, even quiet space to let our sleepy babies rest shielded from the noise of our group. We cooked all our meals here and found everything we needed to do that. The washer and dryer were a big help too! The hot tub was definitely hot and relaxing. And there are enough bathrooms that everyone could shower and get ready for the day easily. If you're looking for a big space for your group to get together and spend time with each other, this is the place for that. Beautiful views and great space outdoors as well as in. Rusty was very kind and on the spot when needed. Also the gas fireplace was so nice!
Cons: This home is well loved. There are definitely some things that need repair or updating. Some of the furniture is incredibly worn, torn, and appears dirty. Some of the pillows in the downstairs bedrooms smelled very dirty and need to be replaced. We found them to be unusable. The cover for the hot tub was falling apart(literally pieces of it were floating in the tub when we removed the cover) and appeared rusty and dirty. The hot tub itself was stained with rust in many places and looked dirty at first, though the rust didn't appear to come off when you touched it, so we braved it anyway. The refrigerator had been very hastily cleaned and had food scraps in one of the drawers and hair on one of the shelves. I had to clean it first thing when we arrived. There were also lots of dead bugs in the windows and on the floor that appeared to have been there a long time. In general, I was most disappointed with the cleanliness. There was a quite expensive cleaning fee attached to renting this house so I did expect it to be pretty spotless, but it seemed to be just done to a "this is good enough" standard. Mirrors were water-spotted, so they appeared not to have been cleaned. The sunroom, kitchen cabinets, and utility room were cluttered with old stuff, etc. In general there was a lack of detail in the cleanliness of the home. However, we did enjoy our time here as a family. It's a great space. It just needs a little love, some updating, and a good all over cleaning.
Thank s for staying with is ! Guilty of cluttering up.some.closets, we had done all floors in hardwoods before your arrival, we will make that disaper. The lady bugs were a problem in the fall as they did a release as they eat affids, (small bugs that kill trees along the lake) they go straight to windows when they sneak in an open door, when door is opened and die in cooler weather, we have check all window seals again and cleaned these. We went through checked and did replace some pillows.
Thanks for your comments, it allows us to steady improve condition s as we want you to have the most awesome stay!
Lots Of Space!
We brought a group of young people down to Nashville for an event and found this house to be an excellent place to hang out together during our free time. Furnishings are not overly fancy but very functional. Everything was in good working order. The best part of this house for our group was a nice variety of spacious places to hang out... upstairs, downstairs, or out on the deck. Location was good... only 15 minutes from the Hermitage. Only disappointment was the waterfront: the views were great but there is really no clean place to swim from shore. We will likely stay here again next year for the same event.
We had a great time at this house. The house was well loved. We needed a couple of issues taken care of but Rusty had them taken care of right away.
Couple of things in the house could have been cleaner but we all had a great time.
We would stay again.
