This cozy, natural log cabin boasts a covered front porch, with a porch swing for relaxing and enjoying the outside. There is also a spacious side deck from which you can enjoy the spectacular mountain view. To further your outdoor pleasure, there is a charcoal grill and a large cedar picnic table. Once inside, you can watch TV or DVDs on the flat screen TV, enjoy the gas fireplace, play darts or checkers, or go for a dip in the hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked and functional. The loft bedroom overlooks the living room and the mountains. You can also view the mountains from the kitchen, living room and hot tub. It is a comfortable, relaxing cabin that makes you feel at home.
Loved this cabin so much I wanted to take it home with us to put on one of our lakes here at home. It was very clean and smelled of apples when we arrived. The locking system on the door was so easy to use. Had everything we needed to cook. Had a washer and dryer so we came home with clean clothes rather than a pile of dirty ones. Was easy to get to everything from the cabin. Usually only took us about 15 to 20 minutes thru the winding mountain roads. Secluded but not off the beaten path. Used the hot tub twice and it was nice. Just a gorgeous location and would definitely come here again. Loved seeing the mountains from the big windows! It's a jewel!
Baby bear was a wonderful cabin and the location is great as well. Love driving through the back roads to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge without ever dealing with traffic to and from all the attractions. We also enjoy going to all the shops in the Arts and Crafts Community which is a short drive from the cabin. The owners are wonderful to work with and they are very knowledgeable about area. Can not wait to book with them again!
Stayed in this cabin last year and loved it! Very clean, great location! Lovely view! I have stayed in a lot of cabins in the area and this has been my favorite. Will definitely be back to this one!
We had a great time at this lovely cabin in the woods. The cabin was extremely clean and quite secluded. There is one neighbor nearby, but only visible from the front porch and it was vacant while we were there. We loved spending evenings outside in the hot tub and the view was fantastic. There were four of us, including 2 teenagers, so having the two sleeping areas was great. Although we only made breakfasts there, the kitchen appeared to have everything one would need to cook a full meal. You're only about 10 minutes from Gatlinburg but it made all the difference in the feeling of relaxation to be away from it all. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.
This was a great little cabin in a great location. The cabin was near everything we needed to be close to including the Rock Top Sport Complex. This side of Gatlinburg is less crowded and there are many little shops and restaurants in the area including Gatlinburg's only grocery store. We had some time to kill between soccer games so we ran/hiked in the Greenbrier area of the GSMNP which is relatively uncrowded area with lots to explore. The cabin itself was clean, well stocked, and a perfect size for our family of four. The beds were memory foam bed and surprisingly comfortable. The front and rear decks are great and the hot tub appeared to be very clean. I will definitely come back to this cabin the next time we have a soccer tournament. The owners were great to work with so no problems there.
The cabin was very lovely. The beds were comfortable, although the one upstairs crinkled/rattled like something on the bed frame was loose. The hot tub was amazing. The jacuzzi awesome. It was very close to a few stores, and not a bad drive into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. We usually go to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area once a year and we love checking out the different cabins, but this is one we may have to stay at again! I loved the location, it got us off the main strip and to see some of the other places in the area.
Now, for the one big thing I always like to know when looking at cabins. The roads! I know that the owners of this cabin have no control over it, but it I do like to know. Using Google Maps coming in from Knoxville, we were taken down a few one lane (although well paved) winding roads to get to the cabin. From the cabin over to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge were on two laned roads, but still a little winding. The road up to the cabin was one lane and very steep with one stop that if you have a lower than normal car it would do some scraping.
The cabin is located in the art & crafts community and
it has a great view of the park.
