Sweet Time at Sweet Pea
The cottage was very inviting and very well decorated. I was surprised at how roomy it was because the sq. footage is small. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the location was good. We really enjoyed our stay there. There were many pros...only a couple cons...there is no house number on the cottage. This would be good for emergency purposes. Also, it would be nice to have grab bars for getting in/out of the tub/shower. The outside building and back yard area needed some attention. But, these are quick fixes. We would definitely return to this comfortable little cottage & visit Hendersonville & the surrounding area again. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Excellent get away
Quiet and nice home
Charming and perfect!
My husband and I loved this little cottage!! Perfect location, walked to downtown for meals, coffee, etc. Close to Dupont for mountain biking. This cottage is fully equipped! I brought our own sheets and comforters, not knowing that they have multiple sets of everything for you. Cottage was very clean, neighborhood is so quaint, and it felt very homey. Loved it and will definitely stay again!!
A sweet little cottage
A clean cute little cottage and pet friendly. Easily walkable to downtown.
We Loved Sweet Pea Cottage
Sweet Pea Cottage was perfect for what we needed. A quiet place that allowed us to bring our dogs. The house is cozy and warm. The kitchen was well appointed and clean. The bed linens were clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean. One critique, the floors were swept, but they were not clean. We learned this when I spilled some water in the kitchen and the paper towels I used to clean it were quite dirty when I was done. The walls could use wiping down as could the baseboards. Would any of these critiques stop us from renting again, no. However, if folks are being charged a cleaning fee, they expect the place to be clean when they arrive. Thanks for sharing your adorable house with us. We hope to book it again in the future.
The house was cute. All we needed. But when we got to the house there was no key. I had a hard time getting ahold of someone. I made calls texts and voice mails. It was a hour before someone finally came. No one called to let us know they were coming. The owner called 4 hours later. We were not so happy about that. He didn’t act to concerned.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. The house cleaners had accidentally taken the key with them when they left to clean another property. I checked my phone right before walking into a movie showing. Immediately afterwards I checked it again and called the guest back right away and worked to track down the key and give them access. We are so glad you enjoyed the rest of your visit, and again we are sorry for the inconvenience upon arrival.
