Everything you expect from a beach vacation is available including heated pool, water sports activities, dining (both casual and fine dining), shell hunting, and beautiful sunsets. A car is not a necessity as we are on the Beach Trolley Line and within walking distance of many activities and eateries.

Why Barbara Rourke chose Florida Central Gulf Coast

Our condo is located in the vacation district so there are many activities in close proximity both walking and driving. Busch Gardens in Tampa is only about 1 hour drive. Disney/Sea World/Universal Studios about 2 hour drive. Clearwater Marine Aquarium (home of 'Winter' the dolphin from movie Dolphin Tale) is only 1/2 hour drive.

What makes this condo unique

A car is not a necessity as our condo is also on the beach trolley line with a stop right out in front of the building. There is also bus service available and cabs. There is a shuttle service @ most airports 'SuperShuttle' for transportation to and from airport.

If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would!

This condo was great but for one disappointment which I will explain. Let me first say that the condo owner was incredible! Responsive and super helpful before and during our trip. The location was awesome - right on the beach, literally across the street from John's Pass and also offered a covered parking spot. The condo itself was also good - had everything we needed with a few nice extras (hello, beach chairs and sand toys!). The condo is spacious and had a decent view of the beach from the side of the building. Like I said, I really wanted to give it 5 stars but the one down side was a pretty big deal for my party of 6. We rented this particular unit because it sleeps 7. However, the full-sized pull-out bed from the couch was simply not fit to sleep on. I could hold the "mattress" between my fingers it was so thin. I laid on it to see if maybe our young kids would be comfortable and sadly it was just in too poor condition. So that meant we had to figure out sleeping arrangements and ultimately one of the adults ended up sleeping on the couch all week =( Replace that mattress and I have zero complaints! If you only need three twins beds and one queen, this is the place for you!

Amazing time!

We had a very nice time. The condo unit was clean and comfortable. The owner was super nice during the rental process. Even though it is a side view, it's just as good as beach front. The pool area also was very nice. It was so convenient to be able to just walk across the street to go to John's Pass to eat and shop. We watched fishing boats come in also over there. We would definitely stay there again when coming to the area.

Needs Updated Kitchen, Bathrooms.

Entry door mechanism needs replaced and the door knobs are wobbly. We didn't enjoy balcony, beach view is limited. The beach view red railings in the picture is the balcony of another building next door. On the plus side it is close to lots of shops. Enjoyed the pool too.

Excellent location.

Great place, excellent location. You don't need to use your car at all. Everything is at walking distance, including restaurants and shops. Place is clean and has all has everything you need for a great family vacation.

Perfect location for our family!! Loved the convenience of everything John's Pass had to offer! The beach and pool area were a great spot as well!

Living room coaches were a little weathered on and the old side, however we just needed the bed!
