FREE NFL Sunday Ticket during football season and all movie channels.Amazing property with beautiful trout stocked creek rushing through it. Enjoy the deck overlooking the creek or sit in the hot tub and relax. This is a truly peaceful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
Just min. away from Leatherwood riding stables. You can be shopping in Boone, Blowing Rock or heading to Tweetsie Railroad, or Linville caverns with 20 mins. Zipline or Gem Mining is also a favorite of our guests.
This creek is a Class A trout stocked creek.. The State stocks our creek each month from Mar-Aug. It is also listed as an 'Outstanding Resource of Water' by the State of NC.
My husband and I live near the beach but love the change of season. We visited the Boone area with friends and skied Beech and Sugar Mountains and explored the area together with our family.
We love having the best of both worlds.....
Jackie purchased this cabin in 2006
Beautiful countryside with amazing views. Breathtaking and love the change of seasons.
This is a Class A stocked Trout stream.
Skiing is only 35-40 mins. away. Boone has a beautiful downtown. The views are awesome off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just a great place to be with friends and family.
We just left this cabin yesterday and I sure do miss it. The pictures are true to what you will find when you walk into the cabin. It is missing nothing. Everything was very clean. The hot tub is clean. The creativity of painting the creek stones and leaving them as tokens of memories is unforgettable. The ride to Sugar was about an hour. I just wanted to say thank you Jackie. We loved your cabin and we will be back!
We had a great time! It was so nice to go out on the screened-in patio for every meal and listen to the water from the creek! We only turned the television on twice in 13 days! For motorcycle riders, there is some dirt road to contend with. If you come in from the east, it is only .6 miles of dirt road. If you come in from Boone, it is 2.6 miles of dirt road. It is not a bad road - just something to be aware of. We would definitely come to this spot again! Jackie was a pleasure to work with. Thanks Jackie for working with us on the dates!
My family stayed for a weekend getaway. The cabin is beautiful and well kept. We loved the hot tub on the porch and the beautiful stream right at the front door. We enjoyed hiking around the property and skipping stones on the stream. The area was beautiful as well. We visited Blowing Rock and also went horseback riding in the area. We could not have asked for a more pleasant stay overall. We plan to come back again in the future and hopefully stay for a longer time.
This year was my second year staying at Creekside and every year gets better! The Stream is right at your back door with the Fire Pit right next to the Stream. The Property is in excellent shape and Mike, the maintenance man stops in to make sure everything is OK. There are no neighbors that you can see and it is very private. Great place for the dogs and kids to run and play. We saw two deer getting water at the Creek. Everything is very clean and in great shape. If you watch Mountain Men, Eustes Conways Turtle Island is 15 minutes away and he gives tours. http://www.turtleislandpreserve.com/home Do yourself a favor and stay here during your next visit to North Carolina.
If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay this is the place. My husband and I had a wonderful weekend. No cell service in our situation was a very nice touch. The cabin is so comfortable. I never cook at home, but found myself wanting to cook at the cabin. We had 2 wonderful meals. My husband fished both Friday and Saturday and caught several. Our three yorkies loved playing outside and running around the back yard. We built fires in the fire pit both nights so relaxing. Painting the rock was also a nice added touch. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend. Can't wait to return.
Me, my friend, and his family stayed here for a week. It was their first cabin vacation and we all loved it! I don't think anyone was ready to come home. His 6 year old son said "I could stay here for 100 years"! The cabin is absolutely beautiful and very well stocked with everything that you would need. We cooked breakfast and supper every day. We loved sitting by the campfire listening to the creek. His son loved being able to paint our own rock, great idea! We fished for trout with corn and we caught several! We went to Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, and Mystery Hill during our stay. We had a very relaxing time. Jackie is wonderful to work with as well. Can't wait for our next vacation!
