Our waterfront home is located in historic Annapolis two blocks from City Dock and across the street from the Annapolis Yacht Club. There is a view from every room of the harbor and/or Spa Creek, a big beautifully landscaped back yard and eating area. Completely renovated, the house has a cook's dream of a kitchen, a separate dining room with seating for ten or more, a living room and harbor/family room. The harbor room has a stereo system, TV/VCR/DVD, and cable. There is a large collection of books and magazines, video and record library. With a view of Spa Creek, the living room is comfortable but elegant. The location is a few minutes' walk from Main Street, with shops, restaurants, a garden theater (summer only), the Naval Academy and other attractions.
Comments from recent visitors: We had an amazing week made even more wonderful by staying in your beautiful home! Thank you so very much. BK, Monroe, CT
'You have spoiled us! We will never find a house for commissioning week
that will come close to the elegance of yours. The spaciousness, the views,
the beautiful paintings, etchings and ceramics - what a feast! It was very
hard for us to leave yesterday.' DG, PA
'My husband practically had to drag me out of the house kicking and screaming! It is such a wonderful and special home, and I would be more than happy to endorse it. I just don't want too many people to know about it because then it might not be available the next time I call you!' KK, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Additional comments: 'I have wanted to write and tell you of the wonderful time we had in your spectacular home. In fact, we kept trying to come up with all the superlatives that describe it. The space was perfect and accommodated all our needs. And how magnificent and tasteful your decorating is!... Bottom line: we all want to come back and spend another wonderful week, or more'.....DG,M.D.,San Francisco, California.
'Your home is so beautiful and special. We walked to town yesterday (crab cakes), and had a wonderful evening on the 3rd floor deck. ' MMK, Greenwich, CT

So----enormous thanks for your generosity in renting your beautiful home. It sure is a winner!!! MAL, PA
Our family includes people who range in age from 12 to 77, and every one of us LOVED staying at this beautiful home. The art work thoughout the house is eclectic and interesting, and the library contains books on a wonderfully wide variety of topics. The main living space has glorious views of the harbor and all the yachts and boats that visit or stay here, and the dining room easily accommodates 8 or more hungry individuals. The kitchen, while small, is completely equipped with every efficient appliance, serving piece and cooking gadget imaginable--plus enough china and silver to supply almost any need. The master bedroom is sumptuous, and the other two bedrooms on the second floor are very nicely appointed. The pullout bed in the office, also on the second floor, is an adequate sleeping space with a large closet. Our teenagers relished the bedroom on the third floor, although having the only access to the "crow's nest", with its soothing breezes and delicious views, meant that the rest of us were often trooping through their special hideaway and intruding on their private space! The small garden immediately outside the family room was thoughtfully and artfully designed...a special buffer between the house and the parking pad. One of our party is disabled, and the owner allowed us to rent a hospital bed and put it in the living room for his use. The owner is very quick to respond to any inquiry, and I found her a pleasure to deal with. Annapolis is a charming city, and this home is located in the heart of the historic district. It was an easy 5 minute walk to Main Street, with its vibrant atmosphere and inviting shops, and we also enjoyed strolling through the neighborhood immediately surrounding Duke of Gloucester Street. The historical churches and homes in this area are enchanting. We picked up yummy sandwiches from Carl's Corned Beef and Deli to take onto one of the Watermark cruises (they only serve drinks); the Rams Head Tavern satisfied every appetite; Galway Bay provided us with an Irish Pub atmosphere, and visiting the Annapolis Ice Cream Shop was a nightly experience! Touring the Maryland State House and the Hammond-Harwood House were big hits for the history buffs in our party. The tour of the US Naval Academy was a very meaningful highlight for some of us, and spending the day in Mount Vernon was extra-special for all nine of our party. This house is perfectly located for the vacation of a lifetime.
