Quaint and cozy and overflowing with natural light, this bright and happy space serves as the perfect urban retreat for couples or solo travelers. Featuring a kitchenette stocked with the essentials, dining in or dining out (you're in the right place!) is always an option.

This property is street parking only. In the heart of the city, parking can be limited. Please read street signage carefully as there are parking rules and restrictions that vary street to street. Transportation is available by trolley, bus, ride share and even electric scooters in this pretty city.

There are 4 detached units in the property, the Casita (1-Bedroom Unit) is located in the back right hand side of the property. This property is located in the historic Little Italy, if you are sensitive to noise staying anywhere in the Little Italy area may not be the right choice.

Nice but noisy

The apartment was nice but too small for 4 people. The neighbors were very loud all night long and the airport being so close, the planes were loud as well.

Excellent property in a great location

The place is beautiful. Very nicely decorated and well kept. It was surprisingly quiet given how centrally located it is. It has a huge closet, lots of blankets, a good kitchen, and a comfortable bed. Communication with the host was really easy. Parking was the only tricky thing, but that’s how it goes Little Italy. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

We loved staying here. We had a two year old with us and Little Italy was perfect because bars and restaurants were walkable. The property is tucked behind a larger house, which was perfect for privacy and noise reduction. The place felt a little bigger than the pictures. Very comfortable and clean! Highly recommend!

GREAT SPACE

The casita was exactly as pictured. Spotlessly clean with good WiFi. TV had only apps. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Neighborhood is great for walking and restaurants. If you have a car, street parking is challenging. /

Overall great with a few minor hiccups

The good: This place is an ideal location in downtown San Diego. My partner and I stayed for nine nights in late November. Easy to walk to shops and stores in the area. Had no issues finding parking for rental car every night with some looking. Really cute little place, tastefully furnished- tv had Netflix and the couch was comfortable as well. Bed was super comfortable and there is plenty of space in the closet to unpack. Great for two people on a little vacation. The less good: Be advised that a rental company runs this place and not a single person or a “mom and pop.” There are three other units on site and possibly others nearby. Noise did not bother much except for Saturday and Monday mornings when trash is done at 7am. Lights outside remain on all day and all night, so huge energy suck- and maybe it is for safety- but it seems really excessive and perhaps that is why they charge a $190 cleaning fee to clean this small casita. (That’s absurd btw.. please consider reducing your cleaning fee..) If you plan to go to the beach be advised they have no beach towels or beach supplies (such as a cooler or a blanket) on site for you. Finally - the unit has an all in one air conditioning and heaters but we were completely unsuccessful in figuring out how to turn on the heat and while the property managers did eventually respond- we never actually figured out how to turn the heat on- so bring some extra layers. Overall really enjoyed our vacation and hope the owners consider taking some of our suggestions above.
