This spacious, non-smoking Condo (2000 square feet) includes everything you might need for your stay from linens and towels to kitchen utensils. With 16 foot ceilings, a loft, and a huge private roof deck, this unit is the ultimate in beach living! This beautiful, four bedroom penthouse condominium is located in a newer three unit building on the Marina del Rey Peninsula only one block from the beach and a half block from the Venice Grand Canal. There is a king bed in the master, a queen and a twin in the 2nd bedroom, a queen in the 3d bedroom and 2 twins in the loft bedroom. It comes with garage parking for 2 cars.
I am a retired building contractor and my wife is a former manager at a large downtown Los Angeles hotel. Together, we keep our places well maintained and very clean. We live close by so will be available to personally check you in and take care of any problems that might arise.
Our Home Away from Home. Our family needed to relocate temporarily for 6 months and we were so fortunate to be able to have such a lovely and accommodating place to stay. The owners couldnt have been more wonderful or the property more comfortable. Unfortunately our stay wasn't for vacation purposes so we would all love to go back and really relax and enjoy this beautiful condo and great location. The upper deck features a partial view of the ocean with spectacular sunsets. Step out of the front door and you can see the sand, you are abut 1/2 of a block to the beach. Great location, restaurants, Venice boardwalk and canals and plenty of amenities all within close proximity. The unit itself is well appointed, spacious, plenty of natural light, with all the comforts of home.
Steven was very good at meeting us at the unit. He showed us how all the key features of the condo worked. It was in very good shape, and the unit was very close to the water, restaurants, etc. That being said, it was quiet, which is what we were looking for.
The condo is well-equipped and conveniently located. Easy access to the beach, Venice Beach, Santa Monica, LAX and coastal bike path. The condo was well suited for a family gathering allowing accommodations for 9 folks with sufficient 'common space.' The upper level open deck was convenient also for a dinner or quiet time. Parking is an issue in the area, so having a two-car garage was very helpful. i would certainly consider this condo and landlord if i were to return to the area.
Beautiful, well-equipped, immaculate penthouse. My family had a great week. Steve made the whole process, from securing the rental to check-in easy and pleasant. We have stayed in rentals all over the country and in other countries and the Galleon Penthouse is at the top of our list. There is a beautiful quiet beach a short walk from the condo and Venice is just a short distance further if you are looking for more excitement. Everything is provided--bikes, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards as well as a two car garage so parking is not a problem. There were several days we did not even use our car because it was so easy to get around without it. Our three kids (11, 17, and 19) loved the location as well. You cannot go wrong renting this place. we hope to return in the future.

The apartment is very well furnished with everything you can need. The condo as the apartment are well maintained and very clean.
The location is safe.
In the garage there are also bikes and equipment for the beach.

Steven and Judy are great owners!! Easy to communicate with and very helpful in every aspect. They are just a phone call away should you need anything. Unit was clean and inviting. Plenty of amenities, bath towels, beach towels, appliances, bikes, boggie boards... Plenty of room for family and friends. Penthouse is located in great quiet area just a block back from a quiet beach, but just a few blocks away from Venice Beach with plenty going on. Great restaurants within walking distance. The Cows End has great breakfast and smoothies! The Sidewalk Cafe in Venice on Boardwalk has great food! We had a fun relaxing time here! Will for sure make a return trip!
Marina del Rey is one of the largest, small craft harbors in the world and has been the backdrop for literally hundreds of movies and television shows from Gilligans Island to Baywatch. You can walk to the local beach which is quiet or walk up to Venice Beach where you can find muscle men, snake charmers, and chain saw jugglers. Sidewalk dining in quaint restaurants is right around the corner.
Marina del Rey is 15 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), ten minutes from Santa Monica, 30 minutes from the Getty Museum, 45 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, Universal Studios, and Disneyland.
