IT'S TIME FOR A TASTES OF THE OUTDOORS !!!
Come enjoy the beautiful Weeki Wachee River or fish the amazing Gulf of Mexico.
This canal home on the Weeki Wachee River is completely remodeled inside, light and airy open floor plan, with wood flooring and nice furnishings along with a wood burning fireplace. Watch the manatees from your backyard. This canal leads to the most pristine part of the river with crystal clear water.
Explore the river at your own leisure with the furnished canoe and kayaks. The river has direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, so bring your boat and enjoy fishing, diving and Scallop season which begins the last Saturday of June and ends September 24th. Enjoy the private dock in the back yard with your cup of joe as you watch the mullet splashing with the hawks flying above looking for a snack. You may get a sighting of our local eagle as well or even the neighborhood turkeys that usually arrive around October. Stay long enough and you may have the opportunity to see deer, owls, pigs, or enjoy some of the finest fishing Florida has to offer. If you are a bird watcher this is most definitely the place for you!
It is a must to enjoy the "Sunset" just five minutes away at Bayport fishing pier or boardwalk or Pine Island Park. If you like to wet a line another nearby pier is Jenkins Creek and for swimming is Rogers Park & Pine Island.

This home has been in my family since 1985. My parents retired and bought this home to be able to slow down and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Weeki Wackee River. I am a native of Tampa and I enjoy my time at my Weeki Wachee house as much as my parents did, maybe even more.
Pat purchased this House in 1985
Why Pat chose Weeki Wachee Gardens
As a teen I would come to the Weeki Wachee River and go camping with my horseback riding club. We would camp in the woods and frolic in the water with our horses. On other occasions we would just come for the day with our old truck tubes and ride them down the river. This river has brought me many decades of pleasure and happy memories. It continues to make memories for me and my son.
What makes this House unique
The home underwent a beautiful renovation in July of 2009. Since then I have decided to rent it as a vacation home. I now have the opportunity to let others enjoy it as well as myself. So far it has given me such pleasure. I enjoy the outdoors to every extent from biking, kayaking, fishing, scalloping, or just sitting on the dock in the morning drinking a cup of hot coffee or tea. There are so many opportunities close by for you to be able to enjoy nature and the outdoors. I sit and watch the eagles and the falcons in the sky and look out for the manatees and the otters in the canal. What a joy :) I hope you will take the opportunity to come and stay and get as much pleasure out of my home as I do.

Very nice home in a great neighborhood.
The wife and I can't say enough about Pat and her house, nice neighbor hood, lovely home and very well kept up and has everything you need for your stay with some extras. Pat was very nice and understanding. Thanks again Pat !
Definitely enjoyed having you and your wife as a guest in my home. I look forward to having you back!
The Weeki Wachee Canal home was a very cozy and clean home. Remodeled very nicely!
We enjoyed our stay at Pat's lovely home on the Canal. She is very easy to work with. The home has everthing you need and is in good repair! All appliances work well and are clean. A trip to the grocery store for food and paper products is all we needed to do. We enjoyed sitting in the back porch and on the deck by the Canal. The neighborhood is so very peaceful and quiet with a lot of wildlife!
The neighbors are very friendly and helpful also. We took a Kayak ride down the Canal to the Weeki Wachee Springs River where we encountered a Manatee swimming along side the Kayak. What a treat! If you enjoy fishing, you can fish right off the deck!
Sunsets are beautiful to watch from either Pine Island or Bayport State Park by the Pier!
The home is close to Pine Island, a small beach area where you can spend the day and is close to restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, clothing stores, and whatever else you may need. The Weeki Wachi Gardens is just down the road and around the corner. It is centrally located to many attractions in Central Florida. We stayed for a month and would definitely come back! We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did! Thank you so much Pat!
It was such a pleasure having you as a guest in my home. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I would love to have you back again!
Very clean and well stocked . Felt like we were at home.
Love the location
Beautiful Weeki Wachee Home
This owner is awesome, and was more than just accommodating! We were able to book this house last minute for the 4th of July weekend, and it was fantastic! The house was very clean and well appointed. Canoes and kayaks were very nice floating dock was nice for easy canoe launch. Gated side yard was great for boat wash down and storage. It is so close to Bayport or Rogers park launch that even if the parking is full, you can just come drop the trailer back at the house! After a day out on the gulf scalloping, it was nice to paddle out to the river for an evening dip! We will be back for sure!
It was a pleasure to have you and your family as guests in my home. You are always welcome to come back. Glad you enjoyed yourselves.
We planned a quick trip to, nowhere in particular, Florida. I looked through vrbo and found Patricia's home. Being a holiday weekend I thought all the "good" rentals would be taken. I'm glad they were because I found a great place. We were welcomed with fresh baked pineapple cupcakes and a very clean home. Patricia is very welcoming and helpful in planning a short vacation. Her home is very close to the springs and we used the kayaks she has to visit them. Cool, clear water and a laid back attitude. I'd rent her home again in a heartbeat. There's a great local restaraunt (something shack?). Everything needed, is provided for a nice stay, just bring food.
Thanks again Patricia!!
Clean, nice location
My husband, me and our 2 friends enjoyed staying here. The house was clean and updated. It was close to grocery stores and shopping. Located on a canal, it is a short paddle up to Weeki Wachee springs. Thanks for having the kayaks and canoes available, it saved on having to rent some. Great weekend! We will definetly stay here again if traveling to this area.
Bring your trolling motor or small gas motor to go fishing on the river with the 12' jon boat for use at the house. Or just leisurely paddle yourselves in the kayaks or the canoe while enjoying the wildlife and nature along the way.
