YOU'LL LOVE THIS PLACE !!!

Come enjoy the beautiful Weeki Wachee River or fish the amazing Gulf of Mexico.

This canal home on the Weeki Wachee River is completely remodeled inside, light and airy open floor plan, with wood flooring and nice furnishings along with a wood burning fireplace. Watch the manatees from your backyard. This canal leads to the most pristine part of the river with crystal clear water.

About Pat

This home has been in my family since 1985. My parents retired and bought this home to be able to slow down and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Weeki Wackee River. I am a native of Tampa and I enjoy my time at my Weeki Wachee house as much as my parents did, maybe even more.

Pat purchased this house in 1985

Why Pat chose Florida

As a teen I would come to the Weeki Wachee River and go camping with my horseback riding club. We would camp in the woods and frolic in the water with our horses. On other occasions we would just come for the day with our old truck tubes and ride them down the river. This river has brought me many decades of pleasure and happy memories.

It continues to make memories for me and my son.

What makes this house unique

The home underwent a beautiful renovation in July of 2009. Since then I have decided to rent it as a vacation home. I now have the opportunity to let others enjoy it as well as myself. So far it has given me such pleasure. I enjoy the outdoors to every extent from biking, kayaking, fishing, scalloping, or just sitting on the dock in the morning drinking a cup of hot coffee or tea. There are so many opportunities close by for you to be able to enjoy nature and the outdoors. I sit and watch the eagles and the falcons in the sky and look out for the manatees and the otters in the canal. What a joy :)

I hope you will take the opportunity to come and stay and get as much pleasure out of my home as I do.

The property and house was perfect!! A home away from our home!

  • 5 of 5

We had the best time!! This was my husband and my first get away together since our daughter graduated high school last year. The house had an immediate warm welcome feeling as soon as we arrived. It had everything that we needed and then some. Thanks for the opportunity to stay at your house Pat. We saw manatees, an otter, an owl, a humming bird and a beautiful hawk. They liked to hang out and visit everday. We went crabbing and ate like kings that night. We are already talking about returning and our next adventure there. Thanks again Pat and you will be hearing from us. You have a great thing going here, thanks for sharing! We felt the love here The Casey's.

Home away from Home on Business Trip

  • 5 of 5

Home away from home! I travel a lot for business and wanted a place that felt like being at home! This was it! This home is beautifully decorated, super clean, had everything I needed and more. I had cable and wifi to be able to work when I needed to. Great ambiances! Dreamy bed! Love love the shower heads! I was only 5 minutes away to the beach and intown if I wanted to go to a restaurant or the stores. I will be back with my family to enjoy the kayaks and go on the river! Thank you for giving me a slice of home Pat!

Pat's home was so cute and set up with everything you may need...even a crock pot to have something ready for dinner after a day on the river.

The Upper Deck was close by and a great time!!

We will return:- )

Great weekend getaway!!

  • 5 of 5

The property is adorable, clean and convenient location! The homeowner Pat was easy to get a hold of and was very helpful. Weeki Wachee is only about 5 mins away. You can paddle her boats (kayak & canoe) to Rogers Park (about an hour and half paddle) and they will shuttle you to the Weeki Wachee river. We will definitely be going back!!

Quiet Neighborhood and lot's of wildlife!

  • 5 of 5

We found it! An exceptionally clean, comfortable and well maintained home on Florida's Nature Coast.

If you are looking for that "home away from home" vacation, Pat has equipped this home with everything one would need. Canoeing/kayaking right out the backdoor and just minutes from the beach, saltwater fishing and several outstanding restaurants. We are coming back next year!!!!

It's for REAL!!! Your family will LOVE this place!!!

  • 5 of 5

Finding a place for our large family is hard!!! This was our first time renting a house and I was very nervous about renting from someone online that I have never met. Our family exceeded the guest limit, but after making contact with Pat and discussing our situation she was kind enough to allow us all to stay in her home. The pictures she has posted are true but do no justice to the feel of the home once you walk inside. This home was very clean and organized. The outdoor screened living area is WONDERFUL!!! And yes, it really is temperature controlled with a great AC/Heating unit you would find in a hotel room. Pat has gone above my expectations in her gracious accommodations with the home and all the outdoor equipment provide to enjoy the river. You won't be sorry if you choose to stay here!
