Spend your island vacation at our beautiful and conveniently located condominium just steps from the world-famous shelling beaches of Sanibel Island, Florida. Unit parking is a few feet from the entry door with no steps to navigate. The tennis court is just opposite our parking place. The small complex is located beachfront on West Gulf Drive (Sanibel's preferred location) and features barbecue grills, a pool, and tennis court. The complex has recently undergone a total exterior renovation and has attractive new landscaping. The island bike path is just across the street and restaurants and grocery stores are also close by.
Our pool-side two-bedroom unit has been recently renovated throughout and has all the comforts of home including a fully equipped kitchen. Unit amenities include front-load washer and dryer, high definition flat screen TV's in living area and and all bedrooms, and wireless internet access. The master suite features a king size bed and the guest bedroom has two twin size beds. Both have new and comfortable bedding. The sofa has a queen size sleeper. Beach towels are also provided along with beach chairs and a beach umbrella.
Sanibel Island is almost 1/2 wildlife refuge with lagoons, waterways, beaches and bay along with colorful tropical plants and exotic wildlife. Activities include shelling, kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking, boating, Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, bird-watching, roller-blading, shopping, dining, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, live theater, a world-renown Shell Museum, and charter fishing.

We keep coming back to Villa Sanibel 3A for many reasons. We have tried other resorts and units in Villa Sanibel but prefer 3A because we have an assigned parking space right outside the entry door; we have no steps to climb since it is a ground floor unit; it is non-smoking; it is fully furnished; when we walk out thru the lanai, we are at the pool; just a short walk down the driveway and we are at the beach; there are several visitor parking spaces (unlike some other resorts); a short walk to the bike baths; a short bike ride to the grocery store, CVS and other shopping; and there is a BBQ right next to the pool . After trying several different weeks in June and July, we like the weeks starting after the 4th as a little quieter and meeting returning renters we met from previous years. Every year we have met different European travelers who have interesting info to share. Yes, it is hot in July but it is nice and cool in 3A. Sanibel Holiday manages the registration for 3A and is a great resource for information and assistance with personal needs. There are many good restaurants on Sanibel/Captiva and Sanibel Holiday as well as other guests at Villa Sanibel are great sources for recommendations. This year, relatives decided to rent another unit to experience all of what they have heard about Sanibel Island and Villa Sanibel. Much time was spent looking for unique shells to discuss and take home.
We spent the last two years over Christmas in this particular condo.The weather was perfect. We got to know several other people in Villa Sanibel during our stay. Everyone was very friendly and courteous.We can't think of a better place to spend Christmas with our family than on Sanibel Island.
An incredible experience. I hardly ever wanted to leave this designer condo. However it was a minute walk down a path to the beach. The pool area was spotless. We appreciated the short drive to Bailey's as we prepared for sunset at the beach. Wi-Fi, tv, appliances all topnotch. If I must say something negative, it would be to update the poolside chairs and lounges.
