AWESOME HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!

My family of five stayed here in June, 2016. It was absolutely one of the best vacation experiences we have ever had!! This place is truly amazing. Steps away from the beach, from the center of Coronado and from the Hotel Del Coronado. You could not ask for a better location. On top of all that, it was quiet and peaceful. The renters/landlords are also wonderful, warm people. Extremely accommodating and attentive. The inside of the house is spacious, warm and ideal for a large family. The courtyard space is also great! I really can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. We will DEFINITELY be coming back next year!!

Wonder place and more wonderful people!

My family and I have been staying here for 4 years and it's amazing every time! 2 times we stayed for a month and 2 times for 9 days. Sondi and Les are such gracious hosts and make your stay so comfortable. We have gained a valuable relationship with them and will be back every year for as long as we're able to! There are 4 adults and 2 kids when we come and there is plenty of room and we are more than comfortable. It's so close to the beach, shops and restaurants too. We walk everywhere. Thank you Sondi and Les!

Fabulous location, great home, and wonderful owners!

We stayed for two weeks from February into March and could not have had a more wonderful time. The location of the house is amazing! It's a one block walk to one of the three top beaches in the country! A wonderful sitting room off the master bedroom as well as a balcony off of the second floor office give terrific views of the surf throughout the day! Those willing to climb a spiral staircase from the office are rewarded with a rooftop seating area with great views of the surf and San Diego. The Master BR is very large with a wonderful canopied king size bed. The ensuite bath is large with dual sinks and a nice stand alone shower. The mattresses in the queen bedroom and double bedroom are excellent also. Every room in the house has numerous Windows for great light and fantastic cross ventilation.

The main level of the house has a beautiful formal living room, great for reading or conversation with beautiful leaded glass windows. The main floor is wonderfully open with the kitchen, dining room, living room, and family room all flowing together. There are two entry doors leading to a very large and very private walled courtyard patio. The patio comes complete with high end Weber gas grill, a large hot tub, two round dining tables, sun umbrella, koi pond, beautiful vegetation, seating for 10 to 12, and nice decorative evening lighting. With no insects to worry about the doors to the courtyard, as well as the doors to the two upper level balconies can be left open all day.

The kitchen is stocked with everything one would find in one's own home and more in terms of glassware, dishes, pots, pans, electrics, etc. An added bonus is a well stocked pantry that saves buying cooking basics.

The house is a two block walk to the most thriving strip of Orange Avenue with 20+ great restaurants. Grocery shopping is within easy walking distance as is the incredible Hotel Del Coronado!

Finally, the owners, Sondi and Les are truly wonderful people who do everything possible to make one's stay as perfect as can be. The courtyard was so enjoyable we wanted to use it for drinks and dining late into the evening. As the temperature drops to 58 to 60 during the evening, we thought a propane patio heater would extend our evenings. We asked Sondi for a recommendation for a rental company to address this. Later that same afternoon Les and a friend ran to Home Depot, purchased and brought home the heater. Talk about great owners!

Perfect location will definitely return

This home has everything you could possibly need. Walk to the beautiful beach, stores and restaurants. Our family cooked at the home. We loved it and had a wonderful family vacation. There is plenty of room inside and a lovely patio for relaxing .

Perfect Location for Beach and Village

This is our 7th year renting a home in the San Diego, first time in the Coronado area and by far this is our favorite place. We would return in a heartbeat. No car needed - the location to the beach and village cannot be beat. The view of the sunset alone from the 3rd floor was priceless. The home is a bit quirky in style and floor plan (and lots of stairs) but it was nonetheless a lovely experience. The courtyard was quaint and we did use the hot tub. The owners did a fabulous job of making you feel at home. The beds were super comfy and the linens top notch. I am very particular about beds and I slept great in this house. Perfect for families as there are multiple bedrooms and beds.

Close to everything!!!

Such a fun vacation home. You can walk everywhere. NO car needed. Cab fare from the airport is very reasonable. Close to the beach (sunsets are out of this world) close to uptown and shops and restaurants. Grocery store Vons (even a discount card is available for you to use) is only a couple blocks away.

We were there for Christmas and New Years. This time on Coronado is magical. Be sure to walk the neighborhoods to see the lights at evening. But do put on a coat. It's warm in the day time, but once the sun goes down, burr.

We loved this property. Lots of room. All the beds are very comfortable. Linens, top notch. The owner was great! There is a hot tub, but we were so busy we did not use. WiFi on the island I know is sometimes a problem. It is home away from home.
