About the property

Studio + Loft, 2.5 Baths (Sleeps 4-6 adults plus kids on futons).

Nice 2,100 acre ranch with two secluded rustic cabins. The land can be used for many things, great for hiking the hills, horseback riding the trails, and great open areas for large or small get togethers.

The cabins are nestled at the base of a mountain only 25 minutes from SW Denver suburbs. Situated on 2100 acres, these restored cabins combine modern amenities along with total privacy. The main cabin features one studio type room, with king size bed on the main floor, a living room and a large kitchen with dishwasher that has a deck overlooking the barn and corral. A second room is located downstairs and there are two lofts with 3 beds total above studio area. Then in the lower basement of the main cabin there is a separate room that contains a queen size bed.

A converted bunk house is included has become a stand alone Saloon and features a bar, a Foosball table and one loft with a futon mattress. The property offers spectacular views and excellent hiking and opportunities. A lake located ½ mile off of the property is owned by the Denver Water Board and is open to fishing for trout, perch and crappies. Many trails; Large range of wildlife to share with. We are located 25 minutes from Southwest Denver and Conifer.

Many of our visitors send photos of their Colorado Wedding and visit to the property. I think you will see the property has much more to offer than most. No large groups allowed. 6-8 people preferred Maximum.

The historic log cabins, the property, the stream, the off road drive to the lake - exceeded our expectations! If you are someone who enjoys an off road experience, and having the feeling of being off the grid, then this is the place. Persnicky travellors who require bellmen and room service need not apply. All others who enjoy quiet, adventure remote, and incredible scenery...you will love this.

Perfect

I hesitate to write a review because I don't want the masses to discover this magical place. This is the perfect escape from the city for people who love the outdoors. It is a rustic, low key, off the beaten path kind of place. It is the opposite of five stars accomodation, in a good way. The cabins are sparsely appointed except for the kitchen which offers everything a group needs to cook deelish meals. My one criticism is that the cabins could use a woman's touch in the decorating department. On the other hand the as is condition is part of the charm. This is a great place for a family or a group of friends. It feels like going to your friend's dusty old family cabin. It is a place that has a heart and authenticity. The grounds are spectacular. We will be back again and again and again. Our host Danny was friendly, accommodating and welcoming. We are grateful for his hospitality and for sharing Arising Star Ranch with us!

Beautiful, Serene and Wild - Best Cabin Trip Ever

This one of the best cabin experience so far. We came here for a bachelor party with around 8 people. This rental has 2 separate cabins, main cabin can accommodate around 9-10 people and the other one can sleep 2 but it has the bar and foosball table. This place serene, quiet and dive yourself into nature. Best part of this place that we dont get cell phone signal so perfect place of digital de-toxication, so you are forced to have human to human interaction :)

You are allowed to make as much as noise you can at any part of the day or night, you cannot bother or disturb anyone. Couple of friends had issues with the presence of lot of bees but its there home and you are in nature deal with it OR may be we are not used to natural habitat anymore.

Last but not the least, Owners Danny and Karen are wonderful people who took care of everything for else (including being navigator for us) and provided all the necessary things in the cabin. It was even fun driving there Red Jeep cherokee in the woods.

Only 2 cents - Please make sure you coordinate with Danny on the directions to this please.

Again exceptional weekend with a great cabin and wonderful people. Enjoy your stay.

The get-away of all get-aways!!!

Thanks for everything, Danny!!!

We came to the Denver area for our nephew's wedding and spent the week at Danny's ranch cabin. We hiked in the fresh mountain air, went to the lake for fishing, cooked hamburgers in a beautiful mountain-top meadow with amazing views in every direction. The cabin has a nice "rustic" feeling, but was still very comfortable for our family of 7 plus my 75 year young aunt. We cooked all of our meals (from scratch) and found all the dishes and utensils we needed in the kitchen. (We cooked biscuits, pancakes, sausage, tortillas, fajitas, spaghetti, hamburgers, hot dogs, ...). There were a number of extras that made our stay very convenient: 2 gas grills, 1 charcoal grill, extra ice chests, 2 full-size refrigerators, and even a Jeep for getting to the lake!

Amazing experience

A group of friends and I stayed at Danny's property for a week. The beautiful 2,100 acre ranch, as well as his two wonderful cabins, which were obviously built with much thought and artistry, exceeded all of our expectations and produced for us an unforgettable experience, one we would all like to repeat in the future. Perhaps the only thing that competes with the property in excellence, is the owner himself. Danny was very thoughtful and courteous and provided us with more than was asked, and in spite of his very busy schedule, he never hesitated to make time for us to ensure our stay smooth and comfortable. Highly recommended.

The property is located about 25 minutes from Denvers SW suburb C-470 and Kipling exit. The 2000 acre ranch property offers (2) cabins which are secluded and private. The driveway is about a mile long down a hill and the cabins are located in a valley. Please do not go to property without an appointment for the privacy of other.
