Our New NYC Pied-à-terre!!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this really cool apartment while on a business trip for a conference and after long hectic days coming "home" felt very relaxing. My ultimate zen time was sitting in the comfortable armchair in the kitchen with a cup of hot tea. By the way thank you for the complimentary tea and coffee, which started our day on a positive note! The décor of the place is very unique and artsy, almost like staying at an artist’s studio! The apartment is stocked with all the essentials plus more, with the guest's comfort in mind and it is also very quiet and clean. The owner was very accommodating with everything and even allowed us to have a late checkout because our flight was at 8pm. Overall a great experience and I would love to stay here again on my next trip back to New York business or pleasure! Thank you!

We loved the atmosphere and location of this little place. Very cozy and fun!

The neighborhood felt safe, was extremely convenient to shops, subways, etc. Marina was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this property to anyone with an adventurous spirit who doesn't mind climbing stairs and wants to experience authentic NYC living. The way she decorated was just an added bonus - loved the bright colors and small architectural touches throughout the apartment.

Absolutely wonderful apartment in the heart of Greenwich Village!!

  • 5 of 5

I'm a veteran short-term apartment renter--almost 20 years coming to New York twice a year for about 10 days, so I've seen it all. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute I stayed in this lovely West Village apartment--clean, extremely well appointed, comfortable and quite roomy for a small one-bedroom unit. This is a quiet oasis in the midst of an ever-busy Greenwich Village city life. People in the building were very friendly, and the neighborhood is extraordinary--meets every need within easy walking distance. The 1 Train is literally 100 feet away from the front door, making getting around extremely convenient. Markets, restaurants, clubs, and shops abound everywhere. Marina was there to welcome me and made me feel right at home. She is a wonderful proprietor, who has taken great care and pride in this little gem. The hand painted walls and ceilings were particularly attractive, the bed was lovely and comfortable, modern bathroom off the bedroom. I hated to leave and I will certainly be back next fall. Thank you for everything, Marina!

Lovely Host, Lovely apartment, Lovely area

  • 5 of 5

Marina was the most welcoming and friendly host, and greeted us (we were hot and tired) with a smile and a bottle of chilled water, which was exactly what we needed.

Marina knows what a traveler needs, as is obvious from the facilities in the apartment.

The fridge is full of chilled water, half and half; there is complimentary tea and coffee, lovely shampoos, conditioners, soaps, body wash. There are robes, umbrellas , hair dryers, DVDs, sewing kit, all kinds of useful things that one might have forgotten to bring.

The apartment is artsy and comfortable and is in such a great location - right in the middle of the West Village, which is full of gorgeous restaurants, coffee shops, little stores; there is jazz and theater close by. We were so pleased we decided to stay here.

I highly recommend this apartment, and could not have asked for a nicer host. Thank you, Marina.

Charmingly Awesome

  • 5 of 5

An absolutely wonderful location in the village right off 7th Avenue provides easy access to the entire city, and is a perfect launching and landing spot for travelers venturing out into Manhattan. The apartment itself is clean, cute, well appointed, and ideal for visitors who don't need fancy accommodations - just a comfortable, very quiet place to sleep, have a simple meal and relax between adventures.

The building is right in the heart of the West Village, and while it can be bustling at night the apartment itself is on the interior side facing a patio: it's incredibly quiet. You'll hear birds chirping in the morning and little else. The 1 Train Station is less than a block away, and the West 4th Street Station is a 5 minute walk - both will connect you to all points in the city with one transfer at most. Anything you need from coffee to groceries is minutes away. Fantastic bars, restaurants, and shops abound.

Marina was a gracious and extremely helpful host, and went out of her way to accommodate our very early arrival and departure. We will most certainly return upon our next visit to the City. Many thanks!
