Sometimes you remember a place because of the surroundings, sometimes it's the people in this case. It's both your lovely home is a reflection of the warmth and care you exude yourself.
You have put so much love into the cottage, its impossible not to feel it from the moment you walk thru the door. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories of Napa and Sonoma to take home with us. Most of all, I think i'll remember you- your energy and the great love you and Bob shared that made this such a special place. We wish you every happiness and success. Thanks again.
Very thoughtful host and it shows in the house and how it is stocked. Comfortable bedding, great bathrooms and a spacious kitchen.
The Corner Cottage was the perfect spot for our extended weekend in Napa. Susan, the owner, greeted us upon arrival and made us feel right at home. The Cottage is within walking distance to all the nice shops and restaurants and just minutes to some great wineries. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Napa!
We arrived late on Friday and Susan came by to open the house and show us around. She made us feel welcome and was very excited for our stay there which made all of us even more excited to be there. Our friend got her bachelor's degree in nursing and decided to go to Napa for a celebration. The cottage was so sweet and cozy, it had everything we needed and extras too, like bathrobes and house slippers for everyone, which we all took advantage of. Coffee, wine tasting, great food, Oxbow Public Market, and downtown Napa was all within walking distance from the cottage. The cottage had a great front porch for having coffee in the morning and an awesome garden with it's own Vinyard and a great seating area where we sat and enjoyed some wine we bought from our many wine tastings we went to while in the valley. We all enjoyed our stay here and left feeling like we made a friend in Susan. We'll be looking at staying here again on our next trip back to Napa.
Susan was wonderful and welcoming. The property is modern yet cozy. Loved it!
This house is the perfect place to stay on a relaxing Napa Valley vacation. Susan really has thought of everything. There was coffee in the coffee grinder, a variety of shampoos, soaps, and lotions in the bathrooms, and a bottle of wine on the counter. Susan and Evangelina (cleaning lady) do a fantastic job cleaning the house and it was absolutely spotless when we arrived.
The backyard was a relaxing place to hang out and drink wine. The patio is lovely and we spent every evening there. There is also a vineyard in the back and it's a fun place to take pictures.
The location is walking distance from the restaurants, shops, and tasting rooms of downtown Napa. Our favorite restaurant was Gotts (near Oxbow Market.) On a free afternoon, we googled Napa Tasting Rooms and walked to two different tasting rooms.
This was a fantastic spot to stay for a girls' trip to Napa! Susan could not have been more friendly and the house was so well maintained and in such a good location. We can't wait to go back and we would absolutely recommend this vacation home to other Napa visitors!
The Corner Cottage was an excellent choice for us to stay while visiting Napa (1/28/16 – 2/2/16). Our group included four of us, with the need for three beds. We knew from the moment we booked the Corner Cottage that this was the best place for our group to stay in Napa. Susan, the owner is fabulous! Before we arrived in Napa, Susan was so helpful with suggesting restaurants, vineyards (a shootout to Villa Vinatieri), points of interest and a Limo company. When we arrived, she met us and showed us around the house that was restored to its historical beauty with modern conveniences. The Corner Cottage had Everything, I mean Everything you could want or need. From the beautiful wine glasses to the assortment of lotions – we actually only needed to bring a couple changes of clothes. Susan had even stocked the house including coffee/different flavored creamers and sugar (coffee is very important to our group). There were two full bathrooms, with one being the size of a bedroom. It was spectacular. The outside was lovely with a covered patio/grill area that was lit up at night and there was a vineyard in the backyard too. Susan shared with us, a bottle of wine that had come from the vineyard (it was yummy). My final mention – the location was awesome!!! It was walking distance to so many amenities. I could go on and on about the property and Susan, but a visitor needs to experience how warm the Corner Cottage is, and how welcoming Susan is. She is a special lady. We will be back to stay at the Corner Cottage and visit Susan soon.
