Why Delbert Adair Jr. chose Pinetop
My dad's side of the family is from Pinetop, Arizona. I have always loved the area and hoped to own a home there someday. While looking at homes for sale in 2007, one in particular, caught our eyes. When my wife liked what she saw my dream became a reality and we bought our cabin in May 2007. Our cabin was built by Stewart and Genevieve Elson in 1972. It is now called Adair Springs Cabin, in honor of my ancestors who founded the town of Adair where Fools Hollow Lake is currently located and who later settled in Pinetop and Lakeside. It is used as a second home and vacation rental. I hope my guests enjoy the cabin as much as we do.

Easy to find cottage
Cute house on a wooded lot as described. Clean inside with functional kitchen.
No soap, shampoo or other little amenities which weren't expected so not a big deal. Sheets and pillowcases are folded on the bed so you can put those on or bring your own. There are a lot of extra pillows and blankets if you need them.
The heat works well and is quiet baseboard heating. I appreciated not having to hear a furnace kick on and off all night!
Be aware that you'll be asked to wash and dry the bedding and take the trash to the curb prior to leaving. This might be an inconvenience if you have an early start on the day of checkout. Having access to a washer and dryer would be nice on a longer trip, though.
I would consider this location if I return to the area. I really liked the neighborhood and the house. It's quiet and feels safe. The floors and shower were clean. The internet was quick for my needs and instructions were provided for that and the TV. I noticed there's a bunch of games and books too.
My stay was short but relaxing.
Beautiful winter escape
We wanted to spend a weekend out in the forest in the snow. This cabin was perfect; quaint, cozy and plenty of snow!! If definitely stay again. The property manager was very prompt with all communication.
You were very easy to work with and thanks for staying at our cabin. I hope to have you back again.
Had a wonderful time with our
Family at this darling little cabin. Clean. Great location. Wonderful hosts.
Collin and Mary, We would love to have you again. I can't seem to catch a fish at Woodland Lake and you guys reel in a monster! Way to go!
The cabin was a cabin. There were games and puzzles and TV to entertain. It was quiet and we loved the escape from the heat.
Tom and Mary,
Thanks so much for staying at our cabin. It's not everyday I get to tell everyone that my high school baseball coach is going up to our cabin. Looking forward to having you again.
We come up every year from Mesa for a week. This was our first time in the cabin. We loved it! Great set up, we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this place to others and will come back. We did a lot of fishing as usual, grilled and ate at our favorite restaurants, Charlie Clarck's Steak House and Johnny D' twice.
It was so great to have you stay at our cabin. Thanks for the information on renting pontoon boats at Rainbow Lake. Hope to have you back.
This cabin is so cozy and peaceful. Wake up to birds singing and a breeze in the pines. I never wanted to leave
It was so nice to have a traveling nurse stay at our cabin. Thanks for your service to the community and hope to have you back.
