We had a great time staying at your place and I hope that your cleaning person found it neat and orderly upon their inspection.
I just wanted to say that we all loved the place - the layout and the convenience of the location were perfect. It was really the perfect little place and we'll all be recommending it to anyone we know planning to stay in Astoria. Thanks again,
Our family had a wonderful time in this charming old house. There was room for the children to play. The house was very clean and comfortable. I liked getting up early and sit in the porch watching the boat traffic and the sun rise. The location made it easy to walk almost anywhere in Astoria. Claudine was very kind and quick to help us when we locked ourselves out of the house.
What a great house! So cute and cozy. Love the enclosed porch. This house has a fantastic layout and large kitchen. A great house if you like to fish. It's just a few minute walk to the marina across the street. Also, close to downtown and lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Claudine was wonderful. We were able to check in early and she was available for all my crazy questions. Very accommodating . My friends and I will definitely be back to fish next year! ❤️
Solid old house in a very convenient location of Astoria - walk or short drive to just about anywhere. There were only 2 of us on this trip but its a great floor plan for a larger group, albeit only one full bath (additional toilet on main floor). Immaculately clean and well maintained for its age. Must be ok with stairs. Yes, its on the main road with an overpass close by but with windows closed not a nuisance. We spent most of our time on the glassed in porch because of the panoramic views of the water. Owners were very communicative and vested in guests' experience. Would stay here again.
This was our second stay but we brought friends with us this time who had never been to Astoria before. They liked the house but my husband and I LOVE it! Perfect for two couples who don't mind sharing the main bathroom. (There's another toilet off the kitchen). We like the layout, the very cozy living room, the old fashioned eat-in kitchen and the enclosed front porch. Claudine was great to work with and even let us get into the house early. There's a crosswalk and light right outside to get you safely across the road and then you just turn right on the river walk for an interesting 15 minute saunter into downtown. We'll go back again for sure! Highly recommended.
The house was clean and exactly what we needed with plenty of room for the six of us. The price was right for what you are getting and we did not have any issue with noise as others noted (probably because it was November so we weren’t opening any windows). There were plenty of clean towels and bedding to use. I really appreciated that there was shampoo and conditioner since I hadn’t thought to pack any.
Kelly is great to work with and super responsive. We would absolutely stay here again!
The home itself is very nice, extremely clean and comfortable and well supplied. The beds are double beds and OK, not 'top of the line' as indicated in the description. The house does not have an ocean view as indicated in the description, and the river view is over the top of a KFC restaurant. The house is located on the main street through Astoria and right under the freeway overpass for Highway 101 so it was very noisy all day and night. We needed the windows open because it was so warm out and that made it very hard to sleep with the vehicle noise - literally the house shakes when a big semi truck went by on the overpass. I wouldn't stay here again for that reason. The building manager was very attentive to the couple issues we had which was much appreciated.
The following places are very close by: Astoria Column, Columbia River Maritime Museum, Fort Stevens State Park, Fort Clatsop National Memorial, Beaches And canery loft (red building) Across the street .
