Enjoy this comfortable and contemporary beach condo built in 2009. The amenities include; travertine floors, leather style furniture, 2 fireplaces, stainless steel appliances, plantation shutters, dutch door, vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, skylights and spacious balcony deck w/ BBQ and seating. This unit is on the second level, above commercial space. No smoking or pets are allowed. Weekly rates are based on six night stays.

Light and airy condo very close to the beach

Avila Beach is close to many great attractions: Monarch butterflies at Pismo Beach, Elephant seals at Cambria, Hurst Castle.

The condo was very convenient, being almost as close to the beach as possible, but just far enough that it was quiet in the little shopping area the condo sits above. We were there between Christmas and the New Year though, so I concede it could have been a seasonal thing.

Gary, who manages this and other properties in Avila Beach, was very helpful and available. He helped me to understand the key lock box over the phone! Candidly, I was too dumb to figure out that, after entering the code he'll give you, you have to both pull down the catch on the left AND the lid to the box where the front door key can be found. (Hope that's helpful!)

The condo is well equipped; a great gas stove, the best sharp knives I ever found in a rental for the chef to use. And for food to cook, the farm stand a hundred yards after you turn off Highway One can't be beaten.

Beautiful and clean beachside property!

The condo was beautiful with its vaulted ceilings and beach decor. We were so please with how clean it looked. The natural light let in by all of the skylights was perfect! The bedding was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and had full sized, new appliances! It was an unusually hot weekend in Avila, so we would have liked to have had access to a BBQ so the kitchen didn't heat up the unit as much. But we really enjoyed sitting on the patio with our girls. And the shop owners around the unit were so welcoming and friendly. We would definitely like to stay again. Avila is the best beach on the central coast! No wind, calm surf, and great food and wine!

Super nice condo and owner

If we get to stay in Avila again, I'd love to stay in this place again. It totally lived up to the pictures. That and the owner was super nice and helpful.

Happy family

Our stay met and exceeded all expectations. The descriptions and photos online were more than accurate and the unit was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Although the description online said the unit was centrally located we were still surprised we were located literally steps away from the center of town and could walk directly onto the pier from our location! We were fortunate our stay included the Friday night farmers market with local restaurants,produce and a band. My husband and I are runners and enjoyed a run along the nearby Bob Jones Trail as well as a visit to the Runners Warehouse in SLO. Our stay also included a harbor tour to see sea lions,fish and otters in Morror Bay, fun in the sun at the beach and park adjacent to the aquarium with our four year old son and a trip to Cayucos to the Brown Butter Cookie Factory and lunch at our new favorite seafood restaurant in Cayucos Schooners ( be sure to ask for an ocean view table outside). Our many thanks to Gary for making our stay comfortable and the process for staying easy as this was our first time using VRBO. We look forward to visiting again and have recommended our friends stay here as their son begins college at Cal Poly SLO this fall!
