Just finished a lovely vacation at Todd's house!! It is clean, comfortable, cozy and such a great place for our dogs!! What a week we had! Front and center at the Breeder's Cup and relaxation at "home"!!! Thank you, Todd for having a great pet friendly place and for being so accommodating!! We couldn't have asked for a better rental or vacation. Looking forward to a return trip already!!
Fabulous home!! Perfect for anyone showing at or visiting The Kentucky Horse Park. Great fenced yard and nice patio for watching the fireflies dance at night! The Llama and sheep were just adorable, watch out the Llama does spit though I'm told that it's a complement and that I'm now an honorary member of his herd :) No close restaurants so be aware that you'll have a 15 - 20 minute ride if you want to go out to eat. Only close place was called, "Sam's Restaurant" and the best I can say about that place was that it was interesting. unless you smoke you probably don't want to go there since they still allow smoking inside. The whole building reeks of it when you walk in and pretty much every table is lit up so if you smoke it's paradise but if you don't, well, head to the Waffle House. House is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Great refrigerator, dishwasher, everything you need really! We will totally stay here again and highly recommend!
Our family spent just over a week at this house as our base for a trip to the Oaks/Derby and sightseeing around the Lexington and Louisville areas. Everything we wanted to see and do was within an hour’s drive...Kentucky Horse Park and Old Friends Farm were less than 10 minutes away! The rooms are large and nicely appointed...loved all the racing and equestrian memorabilia! Todd was very accommodating allowing us to bring our 3 small dogs. The fenced backyard was perfect…the dogs were fascinated with the sheep and llama (who ran over to the fence every time we were outside!) that lived in the pasture next door. We all enjoyed the quiet, peaceful setting and would definitely stay there again. I would highly recommend it to others who want to visit the area!
Large home with updated appliances. Well stocked kitchen. Master bedroom very comfortable, other beds not as good. So much better than a hotel stay. Easy drive into Lexington and to the surrounding areas. Good bbq place across the street. 3 night minimum, but still worth it to be able to have a kitchen. Wish we had more time there. It is a wonderful setting. I highly recommend this rental home.
My family came into town for my son's wedding. We were happy to walk into a beautiful home with a wide open floor plan. The bedrooms were all so perfect and decorated with horse race theme and so was the rest of the house. Fresh eggs in the refrigerator and everything that you needed for cooking. Todd responded immediately to a couple of emails about the t.v. and was extremely helpful. We would love to stay again sometime.
My wife and I along with our daughter, son-in-law, and 2 small granddaughters spent 4 days at this vacation home while we were visiting in Lexington, KY. It was a wonderful experience! The house was close to all of the attractions we wanted to visit, such as the Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland Race Track, and horse farms. The house was spacious and clean, with all of the necessary amenities provided. We felt very much at home there! The home owner was very helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this property if you are visiting the Lexington area!
